Welcome to our cozy cabin on 5 acres nestled in the beautiful town of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina. Surrounded by nature, our cabin is the perfect getaway for those looking to unplug and enjoy the quiet of nature with the amenities the Cabin At Hurdle Mills Offers. Relax in the hot tub, build a cozy fire at the fire pit and gaze at the stars, or enjoy your coffee in the cozy indoors.

Inside, you'll find a warm and inviting atmosphere with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The cabin features a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable open concept living room, and two bedrooms with comfy and restful beds. There is also a spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a deck where you can grill, relax, and take in the stunning views of the surrounding woods.

The cabin is located in a secluded area, providing the ultimate privacy and tranquility. However, it is also just a short drive away from many local attractions. The area offers multiple parks, farms, and the Hurdle Mills market. The town of Roxboro is also a 10 minute drive away and offers many great restaurants and breweries.

We can't wait to host you at the Hurdle Mills Cabin and help make your trip to North Carolina unforgettable.

The cabin is 45 minutes from Danville, 35 minutes from Durham, 55 minutes from Greensboro, 1 hour from Raleigh, 20 minutes from Hyco Lake, and 2.5 hours from Richmond.

This charming woodland cabin offers all the makings for a memorable retreat, complete with amenities and nearby activities that are sure to please the whole family!

Both bedrooms have queen beds that are Simmons Beautyrest PressureSmart Plush (Guests love them!)

OUTDOOR LIVING: Front porch w/ rocking chairs, back deck w/ picnic table and propane grill, fire pit with four adirondack chairs, woodland views
INDOOR LIVING: Open layout, wooden & stone accents, breakfast knook w/ built in seating, flat-screen Smart TV, sofa sectional, board games, record player/bluetooth speaker/radio
KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, gas range stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, pour over set, cooking basics, dishware & flatware & glassware
GENERAL: Linens, bath & hot tub towels, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, shower w/ shampoo/conditioner/body wash, central heat & air conditioning
PARKING: Gravel driveway

Fire starter & 3 bundles of firewood are provided. Extra firewood use will incur a charge.

Other things to note
The driveway can hold multiple cars with 2 dedicated parking spaces. There is one security camera and floodlight facing the driveway for safety purposes.

We DO allow pets, but ask they do not go on the furniture other than the couch with the provided dog blanket. There is also an additional pet fee.

The cabin is in the woods so sometimes there can be bugs, but we mitigate this through regularly scheduled pest control.

Enjoyed our break

Nice place to stay as a small family of three, or two couples. There was a little more road traffic noise than expected, but the road is not busy all day. Evenings were quiet and peaceful outdoors. Our family appreciated both the fire pit and the hot tub. The front porch is huge, with rocking chairs. A pleasant place to sit in the mornings, or after a rainfall to hear the water in the woods.

Don’t even look anywhere else

This place is mind blowing! The property manager or owner is great! Property is the most relaxing place we have ever been. Hot tub was perfect, the outdoor area with the fire pit was beautiful. Not a penny was spared when they built or remodeled this place. Will deff be going back!

Amazing cabin in the woods

Immaculate, clean, pretty, succluded, comfy and inviting. This was our first trip to NC/Virgina for the VIR international race and the place was the perfect. Will be retunring and likely an annual thing! Thanks again!

Soooo pretty

When vacationing, one must remember to take in the scenery. North Carolina is simply beautiful and our rental was equally beautiful. We enjoy the hot tub, sat around the fire pit, made s’mores and played board games. My son graduated from Duke and that was the purpose of our trip. Sad to see him leave knowing we probably won’t be back. Thank you!!!

Cozy cabin

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend at the cabin. The cabin was clean (spotless), cozy and had everything we needed for our getaway. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms & closets were spacious. The dining area nook was perfect for meals. The kitchen was well stocked and worked great for preparing our Easter meal. The outside fire pit area was awesome! A great place to relax and wind down. The surrounding area is quiet and we were able to take long walks along the road. There is a vineyard within walking distance to the cabin. We had excellent communication with Avery before and throughout our stay. We definitely this cabin and the hosts!
