Avis pour House #135 just steps away from beautiful Lake Erie
We enjoyed our stay at this location. Pre-arrival communication was vague, and we were not provided with check in insturctions. House is older with older plumbing. No problems with water pressure or hot water though. One of the bedrooms did not have a window air conditioner or a ceiling fan, so it was rather hot. Beautiful location on Lake Erie and we enjoyed lake views and sitting on the deck.
If you are looking for a fishing cabin for you and your buddies, this is a good place. If you are looking for your family, not so much. Pictures make it seem like a more updated home, not so much. Which is fine not real big on that just noting that the house is old. Definitely an old farm house type feel. WiFi is very spotty. AC units throughout the house, however there is not one in the living room and one if the bedrooms, which made those room warm on a July day. This house is also on the property of a hotel, RV spaces, and numerous smaller cabins. So it is more of a community type atmosphere and very little privacy. Again not a huge deal, but not really mentioned in the property write up. Plus not a big fan of having people walk close enough to the place I am renting that h they can look right in or sneak up on you when on the back deck. Fair warning that there are a couple of people who stay there that like to be the neighborhood watch. One older gentleman decided to yell at my daughter and embarrass her. My wife came down the road a little to fast, which I was getting ready to take care of as they were getting out if the car. This man thought it was okay to raise his voice to my 16 year old daughter as she got out of the car. Didnât appreciate that and if it wasnât for my wife he would have been put in his place. You talk to me before you talk to my kids, period. Any man should know that. So fishing cabin good, family vacation, bad.
