Disappointing

The big luxury hotel is not luxury anymore. they did not clean our rooms, the pool was full of sand and did not get cleaned. There was a lak of food at the morning buffet. And there was missing towels in the rooms. The price is way over the rate of the currently hotel situation.

Excellent Hotel based in a converted old school. The charm of the building has not been compromised and it is only enhanced by the courteous and helpful staff. We had no language problems and enjoyed our stay immensely. This was our 5th stay at this hotel. Bring a swimming costume as the pool should not be missed!

Hidden gem

Tucked away in the middle of Husum, this converted school provides a surprisingly warm and stylish environment for a 5* hotel. Excellent dining is an added bonus

5 stars is a joke

had a ex smoker room under my room was the kitchen... noisy, smelling air condiitioning not really working wifi not working at all unfriendly, unprofessional staff (one exeption) bar closes at 10 pm. no way to order a beer at 5 to 10

Der Styl ist bis in Detail durchgezogen. Es ist völlig anders als alle anderen Hotels. Man muss so etwas mögen. Sauberkeit und das Personal ist top!!!!!! Das Schwimmbad richtig gut!

Okay - but dated

Everything in the hotel is okay. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The common areas look good. But it is all quite dated. The rooms was very basic, bed seemed to be missing a frame. The gym is very well equipped, but also quite dated, seems to be from the 80’s. But it works! The hotel is very quiet and it almost closes down at night. Breakfast is really fine and plenty to choose from.

Das Hotelpersonal war zu jedem Zeitpunkt optimal uns zu verwöhnen und zur Hilfe zu sein. Das Essen am Frühstückbüffet war reichhaltig in Menge und Auswahl. Die Betten waren super. Die Sauberkeit ohne Fehl und Tadel. Das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant köstlich, zumindest die Ochsenschulter mit 48 Stunden Garzeit. Das Hotel ist überdekoriert, auf den Gängen stehen teilweise alte, abgestoßene und altmodische Möbel, insgesamt wirkt alles etwas bieder und muffig, das ist schade, weil das Haus und das Personal viel Potential haben. Der Kraftraum war super ausgestattet und sauber, gleiches galt für Sauna, Umkleiden und das Schwimmbad. Letzteres ist wunderschön in der Anlegung, jedoch fehlen inzwischen viele von den Mosaikfliesen, das wirkt nicht gut. Die Massagemöglichkeiten des Beckens funktioieren kaum noch, nur 2 von mehreren. Man könnte diese einfach entfernen und die Bedienelement mit Fliesen überdecken. das Becken an sich ist schön genug, tolle Wassertemperatur zum chillen und schwimmen, sofern man nicht auf Leistung schwimmen möchte ;-), Das Becken ist sehr groß. Insgesamt braucht das ganze Haus eine Auffrischung des Mobiliars und der Wände. Die Seidentapeten lösen sich an vielen Stellen, das sieht nicht gut aus, es sind große Flecken an den Seidenwänden. Bei den vielen Bildern, die aufgehängt sind, wundert es, warum die Bilder nicht einfach über die Flecken gehängt wurden. Ein schönes antikes Haus, das in die Jahre gekommen ist, es fehlt frischer Wind.

Ein paar funktionale Einschränkungen ( z. B. nicht funktionierende Lifts , früher Rezeptionsschluss ) , dafür stilvoll , grosszügig und sehr schön ruhig ( auch besonders kein Verkehrslärm ! ) in der Nebensaison . Nah zum Hafen , Einkaufsgegend und Bahnhof , wirklich eine gute Lage .

Dejligt hotel i historiske omgivelser. Centralt beliggende. Venligt, hjælpsomt personale. God morgenmad. Fint, rummeligt værelse. Savnede dig kaffemaskine på værelset. Dette skulle man betale 4 euro for. Køleskabet ude af drift. God mad på restaurant i kælderen.Men heller ikke billig. På trods af et lille menukort, kunne de ikke tilbyde deres 4 retters menu. Ligeledes heller ikke en dessert jeg ønskede. Synes prisen i den høje ende taget i betragtning af ovennævnte ting. Parkering mod betaling synes jeg ikke er ok.

2. gang vi besøger hotellet i 2024, og er sikker på vi kommer tilbage igen. Godt rummeligt værelse, god betjening ved både ind- og udtjekning. Morgenbuffet med godt udvalg. Samtidig ligger hotellet centralt. Gode shopping og spise muligheder.
