Sea Mist is a casual, comfortable and well appointed beach house with dual living rooms and a feeling of great space due to its high ceilings and various sky lights. It is located in a quiet pocket of Hyams Beach within easy walking distance of the main beach. The house has front and rear decking, a rear lawn and is pet friendly.

Summer Season 26/27 (18 December to 21 January)

7 night minimums apply for the 3 week blocks below. To book, select these exact dates:

- Arrive: Monday 21 Dec | Depart: Monday 28 Dec
- Arrive: Tuesday 29 Dec | Depart: Tuesday 5 Jan
- Arrive: Wednesday 6 Jan | Depart: Wednesday 13 Jan

For the rest of Summer Season, a 3 night minimum applies.

Where will I be?

Sea Mist is located in Silver Strand Circuit - at the southern end of Hyams Beach. It is in a quiet pocket with surrounding bush, but within easy walking distance of the main beach at Hyams, or the Hyams Beach Cafe.

Why choose Sea Mist?

Sea Mist is a casual and comfortable beach house featuring raked ceilings, open plan living, ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, a private rear deck and attractive back garden. All rooms are comfortable and warmly decorated, and the house has lots of natural light. The location is also great - the best of a bush setting and proximity to the beach!

How is the property laid out?

Sea Mist has a very attractive, split level design - with secluded spaces for everyone. At entry level is the kitchen, sunken dining and lounge which has a wood fireplace. The dining room leads to the backyard via a deck where there is a gas BBQ.

Upstairs has three bedrooms: a queen room with built ins, a double room with built ins, and a second double bedroom. There is also a shared bathroom with shower, spa bath, toilet and vanity. Thelaundry on this level also has a toilet.

Downstairs is an extra bedroom with two single beds and an open plan sitting / living area with TV.

Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?

This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

What about outdoors?

The house has a backyard - unfenced however. There is a rear deck with gas BBQ.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

Sea Mist has a reverse cycle air-conditioning unit - for heating or cooling - as well as a cozy combustion fireplace situated in the living room to keep your family and / or group warm in the winter.

Linen -What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Sheets, pillows, blankets or doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!

Parking for cars, boats etc?

There is space for two small cars stacked on the driveway, or only one normal sized family car.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Sea Mist is a pet friendly property but please no pets on the furniture or beds. Please bring your own dog bed and as the property is not fully fenced, you need to control your dog at all times and clean up after it, both inside and out - thank you!

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Pros: Quiet, 3 mins walk to Hyams beach, had all the amenities you need, tap/shower head at the front of the house for you to wash off any sand before you go into the house. Cons: Musty smell around the house, drawers and blinds were very dirty, couldn't use the beautiful bathtub as water leaked to the downstairs room. Have notified the agents.

The location and size of the house was nice. Only we would expect it to be more clean, the bbq was not used for a long time or was not cleaned for long time. The kitchen could be more equiped with wine glasses, coffe maker ect. We got message telling that we need to bring our own pillow, towel, sheet however they were provided we did not know and we brought them. Overall it was nice stay

Super spot but slightly shabby

Beautiful spot surrounded by tall trees, ferns and birds and only a short stoll to Hyams beach. Worth it for the location but the property would benefit from a more thorough clean and supply of basic kitchen and bathroom items; you get what you pay for though right?

Property comfortable as wasn't hot. Had advertised aircon and we booked it for that reason, but aircon was downstairs only not in the bedrooms. Place is in need of TLC and a much better cleaner!

Incredible location, beautiful spacious home that is perfect for a group

This property is clean, comfortable and well looked after and still full of charm and character. Loved the book selection and board games, the beautiful backyard outdoor dining area and the separated bathroom + extra toilet in the laundry makes it very conducive to sharing with guests. Highlight is of course the short walk to the beach. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

Everything You Need

Excellent house to stay in - the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, having a separate area with a second tv was a bonus (perfect for getting the kids out of the way), fully equipped kitchen, excellent wood fire (worth checking to see if there will be any wood supplied in advance, it was no problem having it supplied once requested), fabulous having a washing machine and drier. Only downside was that one tv had no reception but it did have a dvd player. No welcome tea, coffee or sugar supplied.

The house is very nice, pretty and tidy. Close to the beach with lots of native animals around. We enjoyed our stay. The one thing that could be better is having the lawns mowed and the bbq cleaned up.

This is the second time we have stayed in this holiday home and we just loved it! The house was clean, neat, well designed, cozy and it always feels like home. It had everything we needed for our stay. Glad they have added additional toilet in the laundry room. Will definitely be back in our favourite holiday home in Hyams Beach!

2 minutes walk to the most pristine beach in the world with aqua marine waters... Yet set back from the hustle and bustle of visitors.. Cheeky Bristlebirds flitting about the natural bush surrounding this home. Comfortable and well appointed with interesting art adorning throughout. Happy, family feeling with a fun garden to play in whilst BBQing on the deck.
