Come stay with us in this charming 90 year old rustic Lodge. We are right across the street from the famous Umpqua River where you can fish, fly fish or Kayak. There are beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails for your enjoyment. After your day of playing come have an adult beverage in our wine and beer bar.
Easy process. Exactly as described. John, the owner, was fantastic and there for anything we needed. Extremely hospitable. Very comfortable stay all around. We went river rafting and hiked a few waterfall trails nearby.
The owner was out of town, but made sure to give me directions to the lodge and that I had all my needs met.
She definitely went the extra mile.
The famed homemade banana bread did not disappoint!
Would definitely stay again!
My wife and I stayed on Friday night with my cousin and her husband, perfect timing for us apparently every Friday night local musicians gather for a potluck dinner music and drinks they were all great!
The Lodge has such a rich history and great vibes
The owners were very accommodating there was fresh banana bread waiting in our room, some of the best Iâve ever eaten.
We canât wait to come back!
We were charmed by the lodge host, Johanne, and her delicious gift of homemade zucchini bread! The space was perfect for our needs, which gave us an affordable place to rest our heads after a long day. The only thing I wouldâve added is a couple small, non-LED reading lamps by each bed. đ·đžđ
We arrived late and we received instructions prior to arriving on how to check in which was very easy. The room was very cute, clean, and cozy. The sheets smelled great and the beds were very comfortable. As we were checking out we met the owner and her dog, Lexi. Turns out she & her husband had moved up to Oregon from near where we live so that was fun to hear. The owner recommended some local eateries and we ended up getting a breakfast burrito and sandwich from the place across the road - both were extremely delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if youâre in the area. The Umpqua River is beautiful and runs right along the road there. We visited Crater Lake the day after and itâs only a short drive away, so this place was very convenient for us.
The hosts were very welcoming and provided the perfect accommodations for our getaway. Friendly, courteous and nice rooms within a great hidden location with access to beautiful outdoors hikes, trails, and waterfalls.
This property and room was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. It was convenient to all the Falls that we were hiking to. The hosts were incredible. Can't be beat. Simple and perfect.
We have 4 people in our party. The response so far has been, âThis is the best place ever!â âThese people are SO NICE!â âI love this place!â I highly, highly recommend staying here! The rooms are comfortable and homey. The host and hostess are friendly, kind, welcoming and warm. This is not like any experience I have ever had. When we pulled in, the hostess welcomed us from the door and my son said, âThatâs so nice! You saw us before we saw you!â. This lodge is exactly thatâŠ. They are literally looking forward to meeting their guests. If success in business is being able to anticipate your customers needs, this lodge exemplifies that. Itâs customer service at its very best!
We did not start the entire time because the seal on the toilet broke and we were nauseated and had a headache by morning. It is a cute room but the bed was so hard my back was killing me so after the toilet started stinking we packed it up and went home a day early. They didnât even offer our money back for the one day. It was really smelly!
The place was cute quiet and friendly. It's a great place to freshen up after we just camped for four days, and before we headed out for another weeklong camping trip. Rooms were simple and just what you need it. The Wi-Fi is a little spotty sometimes than that everything was great.
We arrived on a Friday night. There was a really good acoustic / unplugged band playing oldies in the front lobby and they were serving free food - I would recommend the Mac-n-Cheese - and beer / wine. Very cool vibe. The owners were very accommodating and they made every effort to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. Although it did not have all the amenities of a high-end hotel - no swimming pool or sauna - the bed and room were great and it was so quiet / peaceful. One of the best night's sleep I have had in a while. It is also walking distance from awesome fishing on the North Umpqua River - right across the street. My son and I both caught 7-10 trout. Very beautiful location / town. My 17 year old son asked if we could come back with the rest of our family for his birthday. We will definitely be back.
