Villa Paadari is a modern log house situated in the beautiful and rugged landscapes near Lemmenjoki National Park, on the shores of fishy Lake Paatari. The outdoor hydro massage bath (at extra fee) is on the covered terrace, in use year-round.

327 km to the north of Rovaniemi, 25 km to the southwest of Inari town, Lake Paatari 500 m (length 12 km, width 2 km). The lake is not visible from the cabin. There is a driveway from the cabin to the shore with a boat ramp. The beach is shared, having a shallow, sandy bottom. A boat (brand Kala-Palta) with a 15 hp Yamaha engine is available for rent from the owner at an additional cost of €400.


The log house was completed in 2024 and features a living room/kitchen with a sofa bed, two bedrooms each with two beds, a sauna, a bathroom, dressing room, separate WC, and a large covered terrace.

The cabin is available for check-in starting at 18:00 on the arrival day and must be vacated by 12:00 on the day of departure. The nearest neighbor is 16947 Villa Paadari Apartment (two-room), situated in the same courtyard. Other neighbors are located approx. 200 meters away. The two-room apartment can also be booked separately for your use.

Villa Paadari is suitable for both relaxed holidays and active vacations, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, berry picking, and mushroom foraging.

A boat ramp is available at the shore. Winter activities at Villa Paadari include skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and hiking. Access to Lemmenjoki River mouth by water is 7 km, to Vaskojoki River 3 km, and to Otsamo fell 15 km. Snowmobile trail: Finnish Forest Administration's snowmobile trails pass by Villa Paadari to Kittilä, Nuorgam, Karigasniemi, Inarijärvi, and Saariselkä.

Fishing: A fishing permit is required for fishing in Lemmenjoki National Park, area 1562 Lemmenjoki (see www.eraluvat.fi). Inari village, Sami Museum and Nature Center Siida, and the Sami Cultural Center Sajos are 25 km away.

A mobile library operates on weekdays to Lusmaniemi. The mobile library also serves as a service point for the Ivalo pharmacy, offering essential over-the-counter medications and wound care products. You can also order other pharmacy products and prescription medications to the mobile library service point (http://kirjasto.inari.fi/fi).

A maintainer can deliver fresh fish upon request (e.g., trout, whitefish, perch, grayling). The maintainer's contact details can be found in Villa Paadari's cabin folder when placing an order on-site. A local reindeer herder can deliver reindeer inner and outer fillets, as well as other reindeer meat deliveries such as sautéed reindeer. Orders can also be placed on-site. Fish and reindeer meat deliveries will be delivered directly to Villa Paadari during your stay.
