Fantastic weekend getaway
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband, our two dogs, and I got away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago to enjoy our time in the woods. The cabin was perfect for our family and was just the right size. Never felt too crowded. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire pit and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The cabin was just isolated enough that we let our dogs run around off leash and enjoy. My only complaint is the size of the bed was a bit small and firm. Nancy was great to communicate with and very responsive. Would stay here again.

Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur 2 night stay here was wonderful! The property itself is beautiful, tucked away in a small neighborhood in the woods between two lakes. It was larger than expected and super cute inside. The host provides lots of amenities all throughout the house and the decor and colors really help add to the charm. The location is perfect! About 25 mins from Traverse City and close to the Leelanau Peninsula. There are lots of nice resturants nearby, ice cream, pizza, grocery stores, consignment shops, anything you could want. The bed was very cozy and easy to fall asleep on. The host was very kind and welcoming and great with communication. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Interlochen cottage
Publié le 8 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location to enjoy Duck and Green Lake and the local businesses. Cottage was warming and had all the amenities to enjoy our stay while spending the days bass fishing. Had a nice grill for grilling and fire pit to enjoy a nice fire and recap on our day.

Great weekend getaway

Nice little getaway
Publié le 25 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a little less secluded than I had hoped, but it’s a quiet, uncrowded road with most properties spaced well apart. The trails were fun to explore. Just the right size for one or two, with the little wood stove taking off the chill of the evening. The only challenge was that there weren’t enough open outlets, but it worked out.
