It's a nice chalet style house. Very clean. Great location, close to attractions, restaurants and shopping, but far enough from the main roads so you feel like you are in the mountains.

Rustic Getaway

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. We didn’t spend much time in the space but it certainly felt a little more like you were in someone’s home vs a rental property. Great value if you’re just looking for a place to sleep.

Skip this one! Not like the pictures

Pictures look like a completely different house
 the whole place smells of mildew and artificial lemon. Mold on the windowsills, entire place crawling with ants when we arrived. There’s a broken piece of plastic in the shower screwed in with a rusty nail that’s at child head height. The “game room” does not have a foosball table but a broken basketball game with a wooden plank covering a hole in the netting and there was mouse poop all in the basement.

Relaxing time

Nice place to relax with our family and dogs. We had a great time! Kitchen was stocked like they said . Just the shed where you throw your garbage was full of garbage and it stunk.

Pros:Very quietFelt welcoming to dogsLinens were cleanLiving room is beautiful View from dining area was gorgeous Very easy check-inCons:Upon first getting there, I noticed immediately the oven didn’t work. This was HUGE as it was one of the main reasons for renting a house. I have a child with Celiac & there aren’t a ton of gluten-free options in town. I brought my own groceries yet couldn’t cook for my daughter for the duration of the stay. I called property manager immediately & he answered right away & was very friendly, but I found out later that he lied to me by stating, “that’s weird, the oven not working has never happened before “. I found this to be a lie the next day as I combed through old reviews & there were a few instances of guests informing him of the very same thing. I also followed up with an email to him after trying a few things (including waiting extra time, resetting circuit breaker, etc) but he never answered & never offered any help. It was a major pain trying to find ways to feed my daughter during this trip after something that seems simple & expected like a working oven fell through.Ants in kitchen, unkept yard, no AC even though listed, mold throughout house, broken knobs, bunk bed ladders not attached, musty smell, carpet runner was a tripping hazard

Ski Getaway

We arrived in a blizzard, were able to find it easily and get early check in as well, which worked out great after the long trip in. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 7 and our dog. Close to both Attitash and Wildcat, we also took the dog for a hike at Diana's Baths and did some shopping at the outlets.

Great spot

The house was a little more "rundown" then expected based off the photos but it was clean and have everything we needed. We had a great time and were closed to everything. Communication was easy with the owners.

fun and cozy stay in the woods

First, a recommendation to future guests - try to get there while it is light out - the house is very hard to find in the dark (but maybe it was me). We made good use of the outdoor fire pit and there was available wood to burn. We were not quite alone in that there was a family across the street (which made me feel better) The beds were all different - the master bedroom was super comfortable but my friend sleep in a room that had an air mattress. It was OK. We found beautiful places to walk the dogs nearby. We were 35 minutes from the Fryeburg Fair - one of our reasons for going and we were only 15 minutes from the town of North Conway where there were fun places to shop and eat. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed the house. (note: the bathroom is on the main floor so keep in mind if you have bad knees.

Great house

Nice private house in a great neighborhood close to town. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful on the phone. TIP* google maps GPS takes you to the wrong location so I would suggest using Waze. Overall a great experience and would return.

Great Location, Very Private

The house was very clean and the location is central to the area. The listing indicates central air conditioning but window units are provided, not central ac. The window unit downstairs is too small for the space. Also the pool table was too large for the room so we couldn't enjoy that amenity.

Weekend getaway in June

It was easy to find the house and the interior was clean. Unfortunately half the house didn’t have working lights, including the single bathroom, the kitchen, and some of the lights in bedrooms. The worst part was the kitchen appliances weren’t working either, including the fridge. That led us to having to buy a cooler and ice to store the already bought groceries. We did find 2 main breakers but all were fine as far as we could tell. We attempted to reach out to the host, but never got a response via email or phone call. There was no AC as advertised, but we were able to keep some windows open. We were not expecting to be woken up by a rooster that lived across the street, however that is not the host’s fault. Just an FYI if you like to sleep in. The exterior, especially towards fire pit, was very overgrown 
 more than just from a little sun and rain. We chose not to use it for that reason alone. Overall, I don’t recommend staying here for the amenities listed.

The property was beautiful. Had everything you would need for a visit. We did get lost finding the house but was able to find it shortly after realizing we drove right past it. Suggest putting a light on the sign that shows the property number.
