3-bedroom villa with lake view and heated pool

This beautiful 3-bedroom villa is located in the Lakeside community in Inverness. The large pool deck allows plenty of room for sunbathing, or just relaxing in the shade under the lanai as you enjoy the view of the adjacent lake.

Two master bedrooms each have a king size bed and ensuite bathrooms with step in showers. The third bedroom has a queen bed and an adjacent third bathroom.
The property has a private screen-enclosed solar-heated pool. If you find the water a bit chilly, the heat pump can provide some extra warmth to the water. We recommend you order pool heat prior to your arrival (there is a fee for use of the heat pump). The pool has a hot tub as well. Fitness equipment is available in case you want to exercise a bit during your vacation.

Guests that stay at least one week can play their first round of golf on 15 of the best courses in the area for only $26 (including green and cart fee)! After that they will receive rebates up to 50% of the normal rate.

Disappointing Anniversary

The inside of the home was fairly clean but the porch and pool area needed sweeping and a good hose down. The pool had sand/dirt in the bottom and what looked like a layer of suntan oil floating on the top. The spa had debris in it. The skimmer basket and basket in the pump had debris in them. The water level was low. I notified the property manager who stated the pool had just been serviced but did offer to come put water in the next day. I am a pool owner so I cleaned both the best I could in hopes we could actually use them because the pool/spa were the reason we booked this house. We paid for heat but there were no instructions on how to turn on the heat or spa and it was not obvious. We didn't feel comfortable using the pool at all and I only got in the spa once which resulted in a skin rash. I do not think the chemicals were balanced, if present at all. If a company is indeed servicing the pool, they are not doing their job. Overall, it was quiet and peaceful but a huge disappointment for our anniversary trip.

Relaxation...pool side next to a lake.

We came to Florida to celebrate my buddies wife's 60th birthday. The check-in process was seamless. When we arrived at the house, we could tell already this was going to be a special trip. The house was absolutely immaculate inside. The pictures on the VRBO site do not do it justice. You can tell that the owners of the house either lived here prior to renting, or that other family members stay here during the year. It really looked and felt like a home not a rental. Everything in this house was comfortable. All of the beds in each of the spacious bedrooms, and all the couches in the tastefully decorated living room. The pool and hot tub area was fantastic. There's plenty of seating in the shade for those who want their Florida Sunshine in measured doses. We lowered the temperature in the pool to give it a more refreshing feel instead of feeling like a bathtub. The hot tub water and the pool water were the same temperature all the time. Only the lower jets in the hot tub were functioning as I was told the upper Jets were not connected. That is the only knock I would have on this place. The view of the lake, and the horses at the ranch across the lake, was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend enjoying yourself at this beautiful home. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful and helpful owners for keeping this house so gorgeous.

The home inside was good The pool area and decking were lined with sand bags.The deck was damaged and unsafe..boards falling through and nails sticking up and out.The Jacuzzi did not work There is a lake beyond the property but...the water was covering the steps leading to the deck I wish the owner would have informed us of all the weather damage before we arrived for our vacation

Good location to explore the area!

We went to visit the springs in the area and swim with the manatees. I picked this house because it was pet friendly. It was a great location, and set up well. Plenty of towels, dishes, etc. We paid to have the pool heated, and it was so worth it. The whole pool area was really wonderful. The hot tub though, never got hot, there were complicated directions for it. I had to search for those, they were not in the welcome book. I know it was mentioned in other reviews as well. Other than that, it was great. Very quiet neighborhood, listening to the birds and frogs was great.

Great pool area overlooking a lake.
