Moose Tracks Inn: Family Friendly and Wheelchair Accessible.

This cabin was designed with families in mind, and you will have room to spread out in this spacious newer cabin with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Large kitchen, dining room, and great room with gas fireplace opens onto inviting deck with BBQ. Two car garage has wheelchair ramp into house, and master bath has roll-in shower, and all of main floor and deck are wheelchair accessible. Spacious family room downstairs also has gas fireplace and internet TV, DVD and VCR (but if you're going to Island Park to watch TV, you're going for the wrong reason ;). Bonus room upstairs is the perfect get-away spot for the kids to play. Study downstairs is ideal for someone needing quiet, or those who don't sleep at night. Fire pit and benches are great for outdoor gatherings, and the Island boat launch is only 1000 feet from the cabin, so bring your water toys or fishing poles.

There are many things to do in the area within a short distance, so come enjoy what nature has to offer in all seasons. Island Park is a fisherman’s paradise, and Henry’s Fork of the Snake River has been called the best trout stream in the lower 48. Henry’s Lake is also well known for its fishing, but there are also lots of small rivers and streams to try out. Summers are beautiful here for boating and other watersports, hiking, horseback riding, riding ATVs, golfing, and tennis, and Yellowstone is only 30 miles away. Wintertime is magical in Island Park with an average annual snowfall of 192 inches. There are close to 1000 miles of groomed trails for snow machines, as well as cross country skiing. Heated garage is ideal for snowmobiles, and wet winter clothes. Downhill skiing at Grand Targhee resort is 1 1/2 hours away. Or just come do some sightseeing and enjoy the beauties of nature.

Family Vacation

Moose Tracks Inn in IP Bills Island is an amazing place. Perfect for our family of 14. We had a mama moose and twin claves in our yard most days/evenings. Snowed one day and it was beautiful! Family Reunion Fun

This was perfect for a Family Reunion, fun for ages 2 to 62! Got to tell stories around the fire, play games and get challenged finding Moose . Was a bit tricky to find lake access but we found it and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. A quick drive to Yellowstone, would definitely stay again!

The property was very nice. It was so nice to have an accessible ramp in the garage, and have access to the garage, as well as accessible showers & bathroom. We loved the open space, the nice size bedrooms, and the play loft. The kitchen had access to two refrigerators and was very well stocked. The grill outside was awesome. The location is great, Bill's island is wonderful. The host was great to work with and sent some very helpful, detailed instructions of how to access the property as well as the check-in and check-out process. It all went so smoothly. We had a wonderful time and hope to return to Island Park and would love to stay again.

Great Winter Snowmobiling Getaway!

We loved staying at the Moose Tracks Inn. Great location on Bills Island on a beautiful wooded lot. The cabin was roomy (6 nice bedrooms, 4 bathrooms), very clean, and stocked with about everything we needed. It was a bonus having a heated garage we could park a couple of vehicles in. We had 4 trucks and 4 snowmobiles and the driveway offered plenty of space. We would definitely consider staying here again. About the only thing we would have preferred would be king size beds. We would recommend this cabin.

Amazing location!

We held our family reunion here and it was perfect! We loved the lake nearby for kayaking. The neighbors were quiet and friendly and we loved watching the wildlife. The hosts were friendly and gave us great information before our stay. We had no problems during our visit. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect getaway for our family

The cabin was ideal for our family of 13. The living space was perfect for all of us to sit down to a meal or play a game together. The kitchen was well-stocked with pans and a few essentials, and the cabin was very clean. We loved our time there.

Yellowstone group

It was a great place for large groups. Our only issues were mainly in the kitchen. The coffee pot is a mess. You have to pour it over the sink or you make a big mess. Happened several times. Several utensils were broken, cheese grater and wooden spoon, etc. just think that what we paid for the week things needed upgrading. Some of the policies are just difficult to enforce. Namely no shoes. We did the best we could. Otherwise we would highly recommend this place. Thank you.

Best cabin set up i have ever stayed at, we rent a cabin at least twuce a year. Loved how the lids arwa was completely separated from the main living so they could play, teens loved them downstairs hang area. The check out process was the easiest non stressful. Could use a few more hands towles in the kitchen. 2 is not enough for a large group.

Communication with Bonnie was excellent for questions. Directions for the cabin were helpful. We noted the distance from gate to cabin was a little longer than 0.9 miles. Kitchen had ample room and supplies.
