Stylish beachfront condo walking distance to beach, pool, pier and restaurants!

A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "Sea Cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon sofa in the living room (replaced July of 2025), and a built in youth bunk bed for kids in the hallway (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds, which are skinnier than a twin, and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them). The dimensions of the youth bunk bed are roughly 74"x25".
Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

The host was very responsive to a minor issue we had (getting parking passes).The condo is clean and well taken care of. The bed is firm and has a plastic cover under the bedsheet which made for a crinkly sound. No trouble sleeping but a slightly softer and quieter bed would be a bonus.Even though on 1st floor, still had a view of the ocean (not the beach) and pier. Easy and short walk to beach. Wi-fi, TV and all amenities worked well. Condo is next to the stairs to the parking lot so people can see the porch and living area easily. Not a big deal at all.

Property was just as described. We loved the convenience of the beach and pool. The only issue I had was the bed. As other guests have shared, it just wasn’t comfortable for me. I ended up sleeping on the pull out futon each night because my back was hurting so bad. However, the bed wasn’t an issue for my wife. I guess I’m just getting old, lol.

The apartment is fine. It’s a small one bedroom, good for my husband and I while visiting our son at college. The glassware was not clean when we arrived so washed it. The mattress sinks in the middle, so not that comfortable, and is covered in plastic under the sheets, so makes noise if anyone moves. Living room couch is not comfortable for lounging or watching tv. It’s a leather futon. Beach access is great. Deck was nice. Complex has a pool that looked nice. It rained most of our stay, so we didn’t use it. TVs were good to watch baseball game.

Overall pretty good. Had a great relaxing tripOn the beach and the condo was a short walk. Everything was clean and nice. The parking lot floods when it rains because nobody turns on the pumps. This is more of a building management issue than the host. You just have to get creative when trying to go to dinner in your nice shoes in 6” of standing water. The beach is beautiful and we saw some dolphins. Best experience we’ve had on Vrbo. Thanks again

Excellent condo just steps from the beach and the pool. Great kitchen, though we hardly used it. One detail we loved was the number of hooks conveniently placed throughout the unit and on the balcony for wet towels and bathing suits. Nothing fancy, but well worth the price.

Close to beach. Aging Property

We had a really great time at this location and enjoyed being close to the beach. I should note that this access point to the beach is right next to the public beach access area so Saturdays and Sundays are incredibly crowded and prompted us to walk down the beach about a half mile to get away from it all. Some people may enjoy the crowds but my family does not. The property itself seems to be a little older than I interpreted from the listing pictures but it's still provided a roof, beds, a kitchen, and all of the necessities to enjoy your stay at the at the beach. The proximity of this location to restaurants, ice cream shops, and such is perfect and just a few minutes walk to it all. Management was quick to resolve any issues we had and I have nothing but good things to say about them, should you ever require their services. All In all, this was a good place to stay to experience Isle of Palms and the beaches and the activities it has to offer.

Location is perfect. The property needs some improvements . The bedding was worn, old and uncomfortable. Our unit said that it slept 5, however the futon was pure torcher. Even the mattress’s on the kids bunks were uncomfortable. I wouldn’t say it would be our last resort, but we will definitely look for something a little more up to date before booking again.

The condo is close enough to everything you could need in IOP. You can see the beach from the porch. The condo was very clean. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable, but we still slept just fine.

Pros: Location was WONDERFUL. The walkability to all the things in IOP was great and so convenient. The pool by the beach was WONDERFUL! Cons: The queen bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept in. My husband ended up sleeping on the futon (not an upgrade, per se but two people in that bed didn't work). The last night, the guests above us were running throughout the unit until past 1130PM. This unit was perfect for us (2 adults with a 5 year old) but would be tight for a larger family.

I'm rating this property five stars because the listing is completely accurate, and the management communication was spectacular. There are a few things I wish I knew (noted below) that may have made me consider other properties, but those were personal preference rather than an issue with the property itself.PROS: - Location: complex is right on the beach, an easy walk from the condo. It's right around the corner from shops, ice cream, etc. The unit is on the first floor by the steps. While this means there isn't much of a view, I was traveling by myself with 3 kids and all their gear, so it was perfect for us! (There is no elevator, and there are some steps to the unit but not a ton) At night there was some noise from people going up and down the steps, but nothing loud enough to disturb our sleep. -Communication: We had an issue with the AC and the property manager was on top of it immediately! He had someone out to fix it the same day and he followed up to ensure we were comfortable. Cons:- Sounds picky, but with 3 kids at the beach it was kind of a big deal. The bathroom has great water pressure, but the only shower head is a low-flow rain shower from the ceiling. Not great when you really need a proper shower, so we had to use the tub faucet a lot.- Futon: this was described accurately but I overlooked it. This is just a twin fold out futon rather than a comfy sleeper sofa. Just an FYI if you're picky. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Property was just as expected and perfect size for our family of four for a few nights. Kiddos loved the bunkbeds and we appreciated that they had railings included. Great view for breakfast on the patio and great location for quick access going to the beach/pool and back. We also loved the close proximity to the local restaurants, park, and grocery store. We almost didn't move our car the entire trip which was wonderful!
