Traditional southern, pet friendly home

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac just steps from the beach, this elevated 1990's southern home offers plenty of space both inside and out and is an ideal choice for your next family vacation! The full front porch with rockers is perfect for those seeking some cool shade and enjoying your morning paper.

As you enter the home, you are greeted by a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans and a 55" Roku smart tv (standard definition cable service with a cable box). Adjacent to the living area is the fully equipped, albeit dated, kitchen with bar seating for four. The formal dining room offers seating for 8. Also on the main floor is the first master featuring a private bath with Jacuzzi tub, 26" flat screen and direct access to the screen porch and back deck with gas grill. Other features of the first floor include a laundry room with washer and dryer, wood floors throughout and direct access to the three car garage.

Located on the second floor are the remaining four bedrooms, all carpeted and TV's in 2 of the four bedrooms.
This home is Pet Friendly with a $200 nonrefundable fee. No smoking. Fireplace not for guest use. Wireless Internet. Linens included. Take a virtual tour to truly explore this home.

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Dogs must be on leash at all times when outside the property.

Great beach access!!

Stayed here as a group of 8 for the 2025 Cooper River Bridge Run. Great location for both beach time and city time. Convenient and nice beach access. Easy location for grocery and food delivery - no issues with anyone finding us to drop things off.

Great location, but significantly outdated

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staff was very helpful with booking a 3 night stay for our group of medical residents that did not have the schedule flexibility of booking a full week. The place is perfectly located 2 houses away from the beach, which is what we were looking for. Our only complaint is that the house is incredibly outdated and patched up with duct tape (literally found everywhere from the bathrooms, blinds, and kitchen). The beds felt like they were from circa 1980, and the furniture was equally past its expiration date. We also had to provide our own coffee filters, trash bags, and beach towels. The last part may seem a bit picky, but since this would be expected from hotels and privately owned AirBnB homes, rental companies should be held to the same expectations.

Large Space/Great Location - Needs Many Updates

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this property has plenty of space for a large family/group of friends, and has a great location close to the beach. The large porch and yard space was wonderful but needs major attention (an exorbitant amount of leaves all over the steps, the grass needed to be cut, there were at least two large bee/wasp nests that we could see on the exterior of the home, and multiple rocking chairs were broken). Much of the home needs major updates/upgrades, especially for the price. All couches swallow you in and much of the dining room seating options are less than comfortable or ideal for anyone over the age of 18. There were ant issues in every bathroom in addition to needing mold or re-caulking completed, and while the home has what is needed in regards to dishes etc. it's piecemeal and poor quality. Sleeping arrangements are plentiful but again dated or over-used; comfort is not easily attained.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a wonderful time.We did not have to cross the road to get to the beach. There was plenty of room to spread out. There were a few hiccups with the house, but Island Realty responded to me within 30 minutes and all was well before the end of the day. Still can't get over how quickly they responded!!! The house owner needs to invest some money into paint, having the shrubs and palms trimmed, restocking kitchen cookware. However, none of this affected our vacation (maybe the 1 lumpy queen bed). The property manager needs to walk the property after every 3rd rental, going behind the cleaning service. The service could do a better job. But, again, this did not keep us from having a great time. We WOULD rent this house again!
