The property we were originally placed in had bed bugs, murky water, and an unclean kitchen — conditions that were entirely unacceptable, especially as we were travelling with a young family. Despite raising my concerns within the first 12 hours of our stay, both the host and VRBO were slow to respond. It took two full days before the host arranged for us to be relocated and before VRBO took any meaningful action to support us.By that point, we had already endured significant discomfort and stress. The property we were eventually moved to was far from the areas we had planned to visit, which disrupted our entire itinerary. The steep, uneven roads even caused our pushchair to break, adding yet another layer of difficulty to our trip.Overall, the experience left us extremely disappointed. We expected a level of care and responsiveness that simply wasn’t delivered, and it had a real impact on what should have been a special family holiday.

Das Haus glĂ€nzt von seiner Dachterrasse, bei Regen kam man sogar in einer Art Wintergarten setzen und die Aussicht genießen. Das ist unglaublich. ich kann auch jedem nur empfehlen dort oben zu frĂŒhstĂŒcken/essen. Leider ist nĂ€mlich die KĂŒche komplett im Keller, leider ist es auch stark Kloake dort. Insofern wĂŒrde ich nicht empfehlen dort zu kochen. Das Haus ist wunderbar großzĂŒgig und drei BĂ€der ist ein Luxus. Sehr netter Gastgeber, auch wenn anfangs die Kommunikation sehr schwierig verlaufen ist und wir nicht wussten zuerst wie wir in das Haus kommen sollten. Es konnte dann aber gelöst werden, das Problem, auch mit Hilfe von Expedia. Ich möchte nur ehrlich sein, das Haus ist in keiner besonders guten Verfassung,wenn man sehr auf Hygiene aus ist sollte man wahrscheinlich eher in ein Hotel oder in einer andere Wohnung gehen. FĂŒr meinen Mann und meine Söhne war es kein Problem, ich musste schon einige Male schlucken. Allem in allem kann ich das Haus wĂ€rmstens empfehlen, die Lage ist unschlagbar, nur wenn man viel Wert auf Erhaltungszustand oder Kochens setzt, sollte man etwas anderes suchen. Wir wĂŒrden jedoch auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.!!

Fantastic location, close to public transit and all the tourist attractions. But a few details to consider: each room is up a set of steep stairs, kitchen is in the basement with few amenities (ie no coffeemaker, coffee or kitchen towels of any kind). Wonderful upstairs patio and sun room on top of the house. Owner did not respond to communication once we were in. I would say great for completely mobile adults who are up for a historic, funky space and willing to go out for coffee.

We never ended up staying here. We stood in the rain for over an hour trying to figure out which house it was and in that time unable to get a hold of the host. Finally a manager gave us a code to get the key from the box. The downstairs bathroom was flooded was our 1st encounter with no towel in there to mop up. Then we went upstairs to the 1st bedroom and a beetle was crawling across the bed. So we pulled back the sheets and discovered multiple bed bugs on the mattress. That was it, no way we were staying there. We could not get a hold of the host, so we contacted VRBO to cancel. VRBO representative told us we would get a 300 credit to book some other property. So we did, 5 of us senior women hauled our suitcase uphill about 5 blocks away to a hotel. No taksi's were to be seen. Now 2 weeks later, we still have not gotten our money back on the Charming Home that was unacceptable to stay in with the infestation of bed bugs. This property is now no longer available due to this issue. It takes fumigation to get rid of bed bugs.

Die Lage der Wohnung mit 10 Minuten Fußweg zur Blauen Moschee und 17 Minuten zum Topkapipalastist sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Zur nĂ€chsten Straßenbahnhaltestelle sind es ca. 10 Minuten. Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße, die oft nicht beleuchtet ist, daher wĂŒrde ich mich als Frau alleine dort etwas unsicher fĂŒhlen. FĂŒr uns als Familie war es kein Problem. Die Wohnung erstreckt sich ĂŒber 5 Etagen. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind sauber und gerĂ€umig, die BĂ€der einfach, aber voll ausreichend. Die KĂŒche liegt im Keller ohne Fenster, sodass fĂŒr uns das Essen dort nicht in Frage kam. Wir haben unser FrĂŒhstĂŒck auf der wunderbaren Dachterrasse genossen. Der Vermieter hat sich umgehend gekĂŒmmert, als der Warmwasserboiler nicht mehr funktionierte. Zusammenfassend haben wir uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und die GroßzĂŒgigkeit der Wohnung genossen.
