We stayed at De Reve Galata once before, so this was our second time around. The front desk is super helpful and supportive, arranging pick-up from the airport for us before we arrived to helping throughout the stay with any inquiries. The rooms very nice, clean and spacious. The highlight every day was the breakfast on the rooftop served by Mustafa, who is an absolute pearl for the hotel. With his warm and welcoming nature, he was always in a splendid mood making your day start on a huge positive. The hotel is located perfectly to Istanbul Modern Museum, the Galataport shopping mall and a short 10 min walk to the Galata bridge taking you over to Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Can highly recommend this hotel and will surely come back again, once in Istanbul.

The room is large, roomy, clean and comfortable! The hotels location is great to the port. We walked with our rolling suitcases about 17 min. It is walking distance to shopping and tower. The staff were all over the top with friendliness and hospitality. Breakfast was very delicious with a variety of cheese, fruit, eggs, breads, Turkish treats, juice, tea, &coffee. They kept bringing us food. We ate past being full. Wonderful place that I would love to stay again.

Great hotel in a great location. Loved our corner room. We came back and stayed in a room with a jacuzzi tub. It was nice. Not as nice as the room with the view. The breakfast was a highlight. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know Mustafa, Ahmed, and the rest of the crew. I never felt so welcome anywhere at an anytime. Same goes for the front desk staff. Everyone was great. It was seamless. Welcome drinks, great people, great treatment, perfect location.. 10/10.

Lovely Staff but No.

The room was beautiful and the staff were amazing! Even the restaurant was just fabulous! But there was an odor from the close proximity to the river. It was awful. And the 6th floor was under the restaurant, which made it very noisy at night.

Perfect location for exploring Istanbul on foot. Travelling for work, but with a little time to explore, having such a central location enabled me to combine the two. We had a special time here! Great location for easy access to all the main spots to see! We stayed in a room with a balcony and an indoor jet tub (room for two!) it was perfect! My brother in law arranged to have the hotel make a very special arrangement my twins and my birthday - rose bouquets and roses everywhere, a cheese and fruit and wine snack and special note! We were so surprised!

Fantastic Stay at Hotel de Reve

Hotel de Reve was a delight. The staff were incredibly —especially the breakfast and reception teams. The traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious, the room spotless and comfortable, and the location perfect for exploring Istanbul on foot. The restaurant views were simply stunning. Highly recommended!

Worth the stay

Everything was wonderful! The room was beautiful, large, comfortable beds. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The breakfast was more than we could eat. Many Turkish dishes, plus whatever we wanted. The only thing that was lacking was that the A/C was only in one area of the room and barely cooled the entire suite. We have already recommended this hotel to others and would definitely stay there again.
