Definitely stay away

Cleanliness is terrible. Ripped bedsheets, toilets rife with cockroaches, owner has been telling me for a month he will refund me though he has been beating round the bush. Photos are extremely misleading please stay away, I stayed for a day couldn't stand and left!

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSTEL. They are allowing homeless people with government stipends to room here. Every room is loud at night and dirty. Homeless people are smoking in the halls all day and throughout the night. Lots of sick people. Other rooms are reserved for long stay tenants who are just as loud and noisy. Owners are lazy and do not clean anything. It is not safe. DO NOT COME HERE. If you are in Istanbul and need an affordable place to stay, there are plenty of other options.

This might have been one of the worst hostel experiences I have had. The female dorm room is nothing like in the pictures, it's very small and with people's suitcases there is barely space to walk. Not every bed has a plug, you might have to share it with the neighboring bed which might be taken, and no plugs in the common area as well. So if I didn't have my power bank I would have been screwed. The common area and the bathroom was very dirty. The shower and the toilet was in the same compartment, so the toilet was always wet. No toilet paper, no soap. The stuff didn't seem to care much if you have any issues or requests. I gave 2 stars for the location and the price. It's only 3-5 minutes away from Taksim square, and the price is really cheap. So if you need to stay close to the center and don't care much about comfort you can consider it.

If there would be something worse than terrible I would put it! It is not worth even staying in Nostalji 1 hour. Bedding, bedroom, reception area is just source of decease. It was the worst experience ever. The property host even doesn’t will to talk and accept the complaints. Never try this hostel, photos don’t reflect the reality
