Welcome to Casa Las Majadillas a beautiful, spacious, 4 bedroom villa for guest use only with swimming pool. Registered with the tourist board. Choose from the various covered and sunny terraces and admire the stunning scenery and amazing views of the Castillo de Iznajar.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside yet a perfect location to be able to walk into the historical town of Iznajar easily within 15 mins. The nearby lake ideal for swimming, sunbathing, with sail boats, canoes for hire is a short walk from the villa. Iznajar has so much to offer for a holiday destination, stunning scenery and a good selection of restaurants and tapas bars, local activities and good road connections to the major city attractions.

Malaga international airport is an hours drive and there is plenty to explore in this stunning area of Andalucia. The cities of Cordoba and Granada are just over an hours drive and Seville around 2 & half hours drive. The villa is a great place for families and couples. (Children welcome over 12years of age)

Casa Las Majadillas has plenty of communal outdoor areas, interior you have a beautiful lounge and separate study. Outdoor and indoor wifi connection. Smart T.V. Light & airy dining room, a fully fitted modern kitchen with granite work tops, electrical appliances, including American style fridge. French doors lead to a large full length covered arched terrace with dining table & 8 chairs, chill out sofas and separate BBQ area. Stunning pool terrace with shower, shaded dining area, ample sun loungers. Spacious terrace off the first floor and master bedroom.

Spacious master bedroom with a/c unit, wardrobes, vanity area, fully tiled en- suite shower room, w.c & handbasin. From the bedroom is direct access to the sun terrace with views over the pool mountains and castle.
Guest double bedroom a/c unit, wardrobe, en suite shower, w.c and handbasin views look out to the castle.
Two twin bedrooms both with free standing cooling fans with easy access to the family bathroom which consists of a bath/overhead shower, handbasin set in a vanity unit and w.c .


Private drive for guest parking up to 4 vehicles.

Please note near to the property is an olive oil cooperative where you can buy virgin olive oil. it is active only from mid-October through to April.

Magnifique !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle et grande maison, située idéalement entre Cordoue et Grenade. Les propriétaires sont trÚs accueillants et attentifs à notre confort. Nous y reviendrons.

Un excellent séjour dans une charmante villa !

SituĂ©e tout prĂšs d'Iznajar, cette charmante maison, de par sa position gĂ©ographique, est parfaite pour visiter une partie de la rĂ©gion andalouse. En effet, vous ĂȘtes Ă  1h de route environ de Malaga, Cordoue et Grenade. DĂšs notre arrivĂ©e, nous avons Ă©tĂ© conquis par l’environnement de la maison, Ă  proximitĂ© des cultures d'oliviers et d'un immense lac avec en prime un splendide panorama sur Iznajar et son Ă©glise. La prĂ©sence de la route et d'une coopĂ©rative agricole prĂšs de la maison ne nous a pas du tout gĂȘnĂ©s au niveau sonore lors de notre sĂ©jour. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© chaleureusement accueillis par Clay et Lesley qui nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous, ont Ă©tĂ© attentionnĂ©s Ă  notre Ă©gard et nous ont tout expliquĂ© sur le fonctionnement de la maison. Pour ce qui est du logement, il n’y a rien Ă  redire. L'extĂ©rieur, spacieux, invite Ă  la dĂ©tente et Ă  la convivialitĂ©. La piscine, bien que peu profonde (1,20 m), est parfaite pour une famille. L'intĂ©rieur nous a Ă©galement agrĂ©ablement surpris. Les chambres sont spacieuses, trĂšs propres et fonctionnelles. Pour ce qui est de la cuisine, on en a rarement trouvĂ© d’aussi bien Ă©quipĂ©e... de la cafetiĂšre Ă  dosette, Ă  la planche Ă  dĂ©couper... tout y est ! Tout comme les chambres, la cuisine et les espaces communs sont propres, spacieux et pratiques pour plusieurs personnes. On regrettera peut-ĂȘtre juste le manque de salle de bain ou toilettes au rez-de-chaussĂ©e. Pour rĂ©sumer, nous avons passĂ© dans cette maison un trĂšs bon moment loin de l’agitation de la ville et nous ne manquerons pas d’y sĂ©journer Ă  nouveau si l’occasion se prĂ©sente.

We have just returned from a wonderful 10 night stay, the villa is spacious, clean and well equipped - the pool was fantastic! We enjoyed some lovely walks exploring the local area and, of course, the nearby bar/restaurant! Iznajar was beautiful, with a convenient little shop for last minute essentials, however, we found parking and navigating the narrow streets somewhat difficult. Air conditioning in the 2 double bedrooms was an added bonus, the only improvement (and it’s a would like rather than a need) would be portable fans in the twin rooms, as the ceiling fans don’t quite get to the beds. Thank you to Clay and Lesley who were great hosts - we would love to come back again soon!

As lovely as it looks online

We stayed at the villa for two weeks with two teenagers. Clay and Lesley were super helpful even before we arrived and throughout our stay whenever we had questions. The location of the villa is ideal - quiet and remote but within 1 hours drive of Malaga, Granada, and Cordoba. We took day trips to all those locations. The property itself is lovely although the two twin rooms would benefit from air conditioning (they do have fans) The two doubles have it and it’s so lovely. Some of the local restaurants aren’t always open but there’s a decent choice in the next town over - Rute which is around a 15 mins drive away and where the supermarket is too. The lake near the property is stunning. So lovely to swim in or to hire canoes and pedalloes.

Comfortable and relaxing villa

Stayed for a week with friends. Loved the pool and outside areas. Quiet area and hosts really friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the little welcome pack. Both double bedrooms had good a/c units that were quiet at night on sleep setting. The little restaurant next to the petrol station had good food - probably the best in Iznajar!

Spacious character home

We were impressed with the layout of the property. It looked good on the internet and was better in real life with quick access to nearby quaint Iznajur. Laid back spanish experience with a refreshing pool! Hosts are great!!

Tranquil week away

We recently stayed in the villa, the views are amazing, it’s peaceful and the villa is decorated and presented up to a very high standard. Questions before we arrived and during our stay with the property owners were answered quickly and with more information than we required. A very chilled week

We had a very chilled week in the amazing villa. It was extremely hot ~40 degrees so lots of time spent around the pool. There was plenty of outdoor space for all 6 of us, 2 oldies and 4 teens. We had a couple of great afternoons at the reservoir and ventured up to the castle one morning. The description does make it clear that only the 2 double bedrooms have AC and the other bedrooms were very hot at night and if these had AC it would be have been perfect.

Wonderful stay

We would highly recommend this villa, its beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The views looking up to the village are amazing. We spent a relaxing week here chilling by the pool. We also hired a car and drove down to the beach near Malaga recommend by our hosts. You would definitely need a car if you have mobility issues as the village has very steep roads to climb but worth the views. Thanks to Clay and Lesley our wonderful hosts.

An immaculate villa in walking distance to a picturesque hilltop village

Six adults had a wonderful week, enjoying the pool, terrace and many comfortable shaded areas to relax during the day and choosing where to eat in the evening. There were several options 15-20 mins walk away. Clay and Lesley welcomed us and gave very useful advice, for example on playing tennis at the nearby hotel. We recommend the sunset lake cruise. The kitchen is very well equipped, and it was nice to find a lovely big fridge/freezer, coffee-maker and basics such as herbs, oil, clingfilm etc. As per the villa details, the 2 double bedrooms have air-conditioning, which was particularly nice!

Surrounded by Olive Groves

We had a lovely 2 weeks stay at the end of June. 2 families wih older teens. The Villa is 1 hr from Malaga surrounded by olive trees. The geography is outsandning with the reservoir and the miles of olive groves. The villa was as descibed, very spcaious outdoor area, lovely views. If you want to be off the beaten path, this is where you want to be. Not far from Granada and Cordoba, and Loja. We had a very nice, chilled holiday. Clay and Lesley are great hosts. Thank you!

Our holiday in Iznajar.

The hosts Clay & Lesley were easy to deal with and communication was very good. The villa was spacious, well equipped, with great outdoor space for dining, sitting out and relaxing. Great location with some very good restaurants and bars within 10 minutes of the villa. Overall first class value for price paid, we will be looking to return.

Amazing villa, perfect hosts!

We had a fantastic holiday here! Clay and Lesley were the perfect hosts, there when you need them but left us alone when you don't (they decamp to Malaga during the summer so are not on site), full of useful local knowledge and lovely people. The villa is one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in and we have been using Owners Direct/VRBO for 14 years. The area and views are beautiful, the nearby lake provides some fun activities if you get bored lying by the pool. The pictures don't do the villa justice really as Clay and Lesley had made upgrades since we booked it, and have great taste. We had a fab time and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful escape.

Stunning location

If you are looking to unplug and recharge this is the place . Stunning property with the most amazing views. It’s remote but fully equipped . The Town of Iznarjar is 10mins walk away. The owners Lesley & Clay greet you at the property and are always available if you have any questions. The property is very spacious and the photos really don’t do it justice. We will be back x

Een aanrader voor een ontspannen vakantie

Het is een fantastische villa gelegen bij de olijfbomen aan de rand van Iznajar. Je wordt prettig ontvangen bij aankomst door de eigenaren. Wanneer er iets iets wordt het meteen verholpen. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Cordoba, Granada en Malaga. Het zwembad wordt goed bijgehouden. Al met al een echte aanrader voor een ontspannen vakantie!

Brilliant week

We stayed for 9 days and had great week. Clay and Leslie very friendly and helpful hosts. Villa has everything you need and great ambience. The vistas are amazing with a sundowner - in front to the hills and oliver groves, to the right the village and church on top lit up at night. We found the vulla and location perfect for balancing rest, pool, bbq, time with friends - with easy access to places to visit - Cordoba (1 hr); Granada (45 mins); Seville (just under 2 hours) - did great day trips to each. Lake also worth it for kayaks and pedalo's. All around, if you want to get into heart of Andulasia - definitely recommended

A great place for totally switching off

A great location in the country with views of the countryside and the neighbouring castle. The pool is just what you need in the heat and the villa is very peaceful and cool, even in the sun

Huisje is prima qua voorzieningen voor een paar dagen.

Wij zijn er 4 nachten verbleven. Zwembad en huisje zijn prima verzorgd. 4 bedden zijn 180 cm lang, en dat is voor ons te kort. Het huisje ligt pal tegenover een olijfoliefabriek die 6 dagen per week open is vanaf ongeveer 7 uur in de ochtend tot s avonds rond 19 uur. Die maakt veel lawaai, dus je zit niet in de stille natuur. De eigenaren blijken op de 2e verdieping van het huisje te slapen. Dat hadden wij pas de 3e dag door en geeft toch een minder gevoel van privacy. Wij dachten dat het een villa was en interpreteren dat als een huis wat je voor jezelf hebt. Keuken is een beetje oud en wij misten met 6 man wel een afwasmachine (had ik bij boeken niet op gelet). Voor 4 dagen met overdag uitstapjes hebben wij het er goed gehad. Eigenaren zijn aardig.

Tranquilidad y descanso

La casa es muy amplia y tiene muchas posibilidades para disfrutar al aire libre del porche, las terrazas y la zona de la piscina. En nuestro caso el tiempo no acompañó y lo pasamos junto a la chimenea en los salones interiores. El entorno es muy tranquilo, a las afueras del pueblo y rodeado de olivos. Muchas gracias Lesley y Clay por la estancia. Muy buenos anfitriones.
