Disappointed

The hotel was okay. It looked worse than the pictures showed. It was old fashioned and the website did not show the outdated bathrooms (of course). The pillows were awfully small and not of good quality. The sofa bed was nasty. The quality of the rooms were outdated. And there was a party that was down stairs and you could hear the loud music from out room-214. That woke us up. I would not stay here again.

The location was fine. Easy to get to. The floor in my room was not clean. The staff was not responsive. The fire alarm went off around 430am. No staff was around. No fire response was noted from the fire department. No explanation was given. There needs to be coffee at all times available. It was a mediocre stay.

Loud Air Conditioner

We stayed one night for a tennis tournament. Checking in was a smooth process. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were not. We did like that the couch folds out to provide an additional bed. It was suitable for children, but an adult would not be comfortable. The bathtub did not have a drain stopper. The air conditioner was also extremely loud.

I had a few issues...the linens for the pullout couch dirty, requested more, the front desk clerk said she would bring to our room..she never came. After 1& 1/2 hours later she then tell us to come down & get it. Of course by then its almost midnight so we just decided to all sleep in the bed. Next day we tell the housekeeping lady we needed new sheets, & Also other lady that when she cleans our room we need new towels & beds made, we come back about 5pm & room nor towels were changed or cleaned. We call down to inform the front desk & they say you have to request service at the front desk & bc we are sold out we may not have enough towels for your family of 5. I tell him that I informed the housekeeping right outside my door..He says well they are gone for the day so you can come down & get some towels, I will see how many I have... Next morning I call to see when does breakfast end. I am told 10am. I arrive with my children at 9:40am, and all that is left is some bread, fruit, water, milk., nothing like the full breakfast advertised. It just seems as if they are short staffed, don't really care to do anything extra, & just going thru the motions to check off a box that it was offered, then actually being a service hospitality type of hotel. Would it really hurt to keep buffet out and stocked until 10am for the guests then close it, isn't thats who its for...otherwise breakfast should end at 9:40. Not impressed

Our stay at the Hyatt was just ok. The staff was friendly and room size was accommodating. The negatives were the following: 1. Power went out in certain areas of the room, requested assistance two times until it was addressed ( it was only our room not the entire hotel from what I was told by maintenance personnel) 2. Requested for housekeeping services while we were out but they never tended to our request 3. We were next to the highway so you can hear the traffic 4. The hotel does not allow late check in after 11pm 5. Shower did not drain efficiently (surprising being this is a fairly new hotel to have plumbing issues)
