Kubli Haus - Suite #3 ~ Luxury, Style & Location, 1 block to Britt

Suite #3 is known as our honeymoon suite.  It is located on the second floor, just a few steps up the grand circular staircase from the front entry.  This suite is designed for peace, privacy, and luxury for the couple that wants to get away and celebrate a special occasion.  Enjoy lovely streetscapes and natural views from the tall double-hung windows, and take in the rustic shiplap ceilings and restored 160-year old wood floors. 

A queen-sized bed anchors the common bedroom/living space, which also includes a kitchenette, wingback chair, metal drum side-table, and a wall-mounted 4k UHD TV with cable and streaming capabilities. The en suite bathroom, which is larger than the bedroom, boasts a large walk-in tile and glass shower and a two-person free-standing tub highlighted by the candle-style glass chandelier above. Laundry facilities are also available on-site for guest use.

This suite is ideal for that special couple, professional work/travel and those looking for peace, privacy, and coziness. If you are looking for more capacity, additional suites or the entire house may be rented out for larger group sizes up to 14 people. Inquiries can be made directly with the host.

All suites at Kubli Haus have smart-lock features, therefore, guests have the option of contactless or in-person check-in.

Kubli Haus is located in the Historic District of Jacksonville, just one block away from the Britt Festival grounds and numerous hiking trails and two short blocks from the coffee shops, wine tasting rooms, bars, restaurants and boutiques that line California Street.

Romantic and cozy

We spent our 7th wedding anniversary at the Kubli Haus ! We stayed in suite #3 it was the most beautiful and romantic room we’ve ever stayed in. The soaking tub was a huge hit as we had just finished a long day of cyceling and running. The property owner was so sweet she even offered to bring epson salt to our room to soak our tired muscles in. She offered recommendations for dinner and breakfast spots in Jacksonville which we took her up on as they were a 2 min walk from our room. She also let me know that we could sit outside on the deck in front of another suite that evening if we wanted to because the room was vacant. The room was clean, warm, well decorated and even had a fuzzy blanket in the closet to make you feel even more at home! The location was great, and in a quite part of town. Highly recommend staying there!! Thanks for the wonderful getaway spot Kathleen your family knocked this restoration project out of the park! đŸ’«

Beautiful, Comfortable Room

We loved our stay at Kubli Haus. The room we stayed in was so beautiful. The attention to the small finishes and details made the stay just that much more comfortable and fun. The care and quality that Kathleen put in to everything in this room, from the beautiful solid wood doors with their classy, heavy knobs, to the gorgeous chandelier over the amazing soaker tub. (The water pressure is amazing and the tub fills quickly.) We loved how soft the towels were and the connivence of all the smaller amenities in the room. We popped popcorn in the microwave, stored drinks in the mini fridge and were grateful for the extra water bottles and coffee left on the sideboard. If we are ever staying in Jville again, we will book here again!
