We had a balcony king room that said we had partial Ocean view. well it was a great, unobstructed view of the beach & ocean with a minimal walk to be on the beach. Can’t wait to stay again. Room was clean. Staff were excellent.

My stay was disappointing from the start. I arrived early due to an early flight, hoping to check in, but the front desk told me my room wasn’t ready and to check back later. I did, had lunch/took a walk. Despite multiple attempts, I was told it wasn’t worth coming back again, which felt dismissive, especially since I’m 7 months pregnant with back pain and needed to lay down. I was hoping they'd contact housekeeping and prioritize a room, but that initiative didn’t happen. When we finally checked in at 3:50 PM, the outlets at the desk didn’t work, forcing us to use inconvenient outlets by the bed. There was also hair in the shower, leaving a poor first impression. Throughout our stay, our room wasn’t cleaned daily. One day, after the beach, I returned to an unclean room. When I tried to speak to the cleaning staff, I felt ignored, and on another day, I politely asked for cleaning, but the staff turned away and seemed dismissive. There also seemed to be two supervisors in a room that housekeeping was working on that ignored me and were sitting inside on their phones. Overall, interactions with staff were negative, and it was misleading to learn that beach chairs and umbrellas weren’t included and had to be rented separately, adding unexpected costs. I had hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, it was not up to expectations. I do not recommend staying here.

Great location, the room was nice but definitely was quick cleaned and not really cleaned cleaned based on the piles of sand in the bathroom when we checked in. The hotel restaurant was really good.

We have stayed here every year for a week since it opened in 2021 and normally are exceptionally pleased. This year things seemed to have deteriorated slightly. The pool is no longer heated, the bathroom sink didn’t drain well, and there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. There were also no hand towels upon arrival. The staff were all very friendly!

Clean room, good location. Some staff was friendly and helpful like in the cafe and restaurant and others at the front desk just didn’t seem too cheerful. Maybe it’s a Texas thing but when I call the desk and ask a question and say thank you I don’t expect an answer then an immediate hang up. Maybe a “you’re welcome is there anything else I can help you with” etc would have felt more appropriate. My only other complaint was the thin walls. I don’t want to hear other couples arguing at night. It’s awkward and not relaxing for those of us seeking respite. Not a management issue though just something for others to note when looking to book a stay here. All in all I would return for the restaurant or bar. The drink had a heavy handed pour and the burger was fantastic. I also thought the iced coffee in the shop was a good value as well.
