Beautiful Cabin 1 Mile from the Boat Launch and Close to Many Others!

Newly built cabin finished in 2021, one mile from Shy Beaver boat launch which is on a 3 mile cove, and 10 minutes from several other boat launches. No boat? Check out RAYSTOWNBOATING.com. Unlimited Wifi included in rental price. Three bedrooms, large common area, full kitchen, two baths, elevated deck, fire pit area, and tremendous views of the mountains. All the amenities of home on 1.25 acres with an easy drive to State College. Access to state games lands nearby, biking/hiking trails galore, state forests and parks, central air/heat, and two full baths. Plenty of driveway space for several vehicles and your boat. Ten minutes from groceries, take out, ice cream, or local supply stores. Please note trash/recycling will need taken with you upon leaving. Walk to the lake if you like!

Weekend in James Creek

Our stay couldn’t have been better. The home was immaculate upon arrival, Randy was easily accessible for any questions we had, and the location was perfect for our weekend plans. The home is very tastefully decorated and warm and cozy on a chilly winter weekend. We will be back!

Perfect accommodations for anyone looking to enjoy Raystown lake.

As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a clean, spacious, tastefully appointed great room that wound up being the perfect hub of activity whenever we weren’t on the lake. Everything was clean and comfortable, and our property owner was great at communicating details and responding to any questions. Less than 5 minutes to the super easy (and free) Shy Beaver boat launch, and everything you need to have an enjoyable stay when you’re not on the lake, we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property! Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a place to kick back and relax with your family and friends— this is your place. Close to many boat launches and beaches, which was plus. A couple call outs and mentions on this property: -easy to put a boat in and out driveway - property owner Boyre/kelly were extremely accommodating and flexible. And very commutative - no check in or check out time— which allowed us to make the most of your time - the place was Extremely clean -kitchen was well stocked to accommodate your cooking needs - great view of the mountains, especially around the fire Pitt - friendly neighbors— of course we made some new friends - for those that have kids- the place is kid friendly (owner has door alarms that you can activate to ensure the littles don’t make a sneak out). What kids ages 4, 6 and 11 and it was perfect for them to spread out and play— great yard to play in too. - beds are super comfy! Best night sleep we have had!! We can’t wait to go back and make this a new family tradition! Thank you Boyre and kelly for a great stay! You guys have a beautiful place, thank you for allowing my family make memories at your place!!

Beautiful Home In A Wonderful Location

This is a gorgeous house located in a wonderful area to explore nature. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. Not only did he provide an immaculate place to stay but was also kind as to provide restaurant suggestions and a list of hot spots in the area. I’ve stayed at a lot of places with my family and this was by far the best experience I’ve had. I highly recommend!

Beautiful Home!

This newly build home is located just 10-15 minutes from Raystown Lake. The one room open concept worked perfect for our family. With the main living area being on the 2nd floor the scenery from the windows and front deck are beautiful. Having two bathrooms and the downstairs bunk room for the kids worked out great! Highly recommend!

Great Cabin Stay

We absolutely loved Boyre’s cabin in James Creek. It was brand new inside and extremely clean. The cabin had sufficient amenities for our stay. Our family loved the views and the cleanliness of this cabin. There was sufficient parking for our 22 foot boat and truck with plenty of extra space. We loved this experience and will definitely be returning visitors!
