Don’t stay here! Bedding is disgusting!

The bedding was disgusting!! The sheets and pillow cases were discolored and yellow ish not white and stained very badly! Housekeeping came before my check out time and opened my room door while I was out eating without permission. Horrible motel! I explained the issue through email and they denied a refund. Don’t recommend staying here.

The room was very basic, yet clean. The beds were not super comfortable, but it was fine for a one-night stay. It was quiet and safe. No issues.

I made the reservation 2 weeks ago. When we got there Saturday night there was a big concert in the area. They were canceling peoples reservations right and left. So no room and their comment was good luck finding a room. So my son in law found us a room 150 miles away. We had driven 12 hours to Janesville from Manchester TN. We are both in our 70’s so we were beat and needed that room. My opinion is that they bumped all the low paying people and reserved rooms for those who would pay a higher price. Not good business at all.

Janesville Motel 6

This is not the Ritz. But it was clean, the staff was very polite, the TV and wifi worked, and I got at least what I paid for. The A/C kept me cool on the hottest day of the year so far. If you are just passing through and want a place to crash without paying a lot, this is the place. I suspect that there is new ownership and they are working to modernize and renovate. Best of luck.
