Prime location and big amenities in a little package add up to exceptional value! This comfy, quiet cottage in the heart of Jekyll has everything you need. Relax in the shade of towering live oaks, pick some toys from the shed and stroll down to the beach, or take a few steps over to the bike path and explore the island. Or, if you’d rather, head down the road to take a dip in the pool at the Days Inn. Wash off the sand with the outdoor shower, then grill out, prepare your favorite foods in the compact, well-stocked kitchen, or dine at one of Jekyll’s many wonderful restaurants. After sunset, surf the web on the high-speed internet, take in your favorite entertainment on a large-screen TV, grab a book, or play a family game. Have a leisurely breakfast in the screened patio or on the deck, and keep your eye out for visiting deer in the big back yard as you get ready to do it all over again!


We want each trip to Beach Oaks to be better than the last and continually improve the cottage. We replaced two standard twin beds with twin XL, so all four singles are now extra-long for the sleep comfort of teens and adults. To help you beat the heat, we added ceiling fans in the den, living room and screened patio (bedrooms already had them). Finally, we added a pantry cabinet in the kitchen so there is plenty of room for groceries, as well as additional appliances (an electric griddle and an Instant Pot joined the collection this year). The cottage received extensive upgrades: all-new plumbing, re-upholstered furniture, fresh paint with a relaxing coastal color scheme, child-safe cordless blinds, new pillows and greatly improved, modern lighting. The cottage is carpet free and has only area rugs to accent the beautiful, original hardwood floors in the living room and bedrooms. Beach Oaks is home away from home for its owners – make it yours, too!
