I recently had the pleasure of staying at a truly secluded property that offered breathtaking views of both the mountains and the ocean. The setting was peaceful and private, making it the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The dining experience was exceptional, with meals served against the stunning backdrop of the ocean and beach—it's hard to beat that kind of ambiance. Each meal felt like an event, with flavors that complemented the view perfectly. A special mention goes to the bar and the nightly entertainment. The atmosphere was laid-back yet vibrant, offering a wonderful way to unwind at the end of each day. Hermitage Bay was exactly what we wanted—quiet, intimate, and beautiful. The porches on the rooms are fabulous, as are the views. The staff was incredibly friendly and remembered our names even the first day. We were well taken care of and were able to fully relax for the first time in a long time. We will be back.

Great Honeymoon Spot

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Service was impeccable and the villas were very clean. Food is excellent as well but the evenings are very quiet at this hotel. Opt for the hillside villa for the plunge pool and stunning views! Only real complaint was getting used to the loud birds that would start just before sunrise...you're definitely immersed in nature here!

great hotel for a romantic getaway

We've stayed at some more expensive resorts in the Caribbean like Caneel Bay and Little Dix Bay, but none matched the service or room/view for Hermitage Bay. We paid extra for a room high up on the hill and it was worth every penny. The walk isn't quick, but you need to burn the calories from all of the great food and drink somehow!

Simply the best

My husband and I just returned from 5 days at Hermitage Bay. We have taken a number of beach vacations over the years, and this was, quite simply, the best ever. Best food, accommodations, staff, setting. Our only regret was that high winds made the snorkeling less than ideal (also, apparently, there are fewer fish around in December.) But we could not recommend this resort more highly.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! Best place EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely the best, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The hotel is not all marble and glitz, but that's what makes it perfect. There are no loud casinos or nightclubs, just the sound of the waves, possibly some nice live music during dinner. The food is the best we have ever had, and that includes staying at some of the highest rated hotels is the world. Pure ingredients, most from their own garden. Employees are friendly and helpful. The beach is private and beautiful. No children was a welcomed surprise to me as I have, and love, children but htis is totally a couples getaway. In fact, we did not see any couples who went together or ate together- simply a getaway for a couple, alone, to recharge their batteries. The all-inclusive was great, and the liquers at the restaurant and in the mini-fridges in each room were stocked with very nice, labeled liquer. Can't say enough about this place. The only advise I would give is that the hillside places are a hike up some pretty rough steps, so if you are older or not good at uphill climbs, take the beach cottages (but hte view of the island from the hillside cottages was unbelievable)...Great place!

Relax with luxury !!!

Hermitage Bay is a hotel to relax, with a “private” beach and a nice swimming pool with a bar standing just beside, only you need to do is to lay down and ask for a drink (recommend the Mojito) while relax with the infinite view from the pool to the sea. The staff is very professional and cordial, they are always ready to serve. The environment is calm and integrated with nature. Despite the “all inclusive” system the Hotel has an excellent Chef which makes 3 meals a day an adventurous challenge for your taste, mixing the local grown organic food with seasonings that will make you ask for more … Overall the hotel is excellent to whom want to chill out, everything was perfect the only downgrade is the road to the hotel, free advice : don’t eat before take the road !

Excellent service, quiet luxury.

This is a perfect getaway for a couple or small group, in a beautiful setting. No kids, quiet but there is always life at the bar if you want it. Excellent food and drinks, particularly considering it is all inclusive - no buffets here, and you get what you pay for.

Awesome couples get-a-way

The resort is one of the nicest accomidations of its type that my wife and I have experienced. For sure a couples getaway, the rooms, food, drinks & help was at the highest level. There is plenty of simple activity to do...sailing, snorkling, hikeing...on location, or the resort will make arrangements for extended sailing adventures or seadoos. During our 7 day stay, we never got tired of the food...new choices were offered daily...and wherever you chose to eat...at the dining area, around the bar, on the beach, or in your room. To sum up our experience...we never left the property during our 7 day stay. Thanks to the owner and staff for allowing us a wonderful environment to just relax.

Maravillosa estancia en el Hermitage Bay

Hotel Maravilloso. Un nivel de servicio excelente. Hemos estado recientemente y lo recomiendo al 100%. Fuimos mi mujer y yo a celebrar el 50 cumpleaños de ella. Superó todas nuestras expectativas. Lo mejor la tranquilidad que se respira, la playa es maravillosa, la comida muy buena , aunque para los españoles quiza sea un poco cansada, pues es muy de diseño y la materia prima es muy de allí, logicamente.Imperdible hacer snorkel con la gente del hotel, que te llevan a una zona muy buena.

Wahrer Luxus ist wenn man so Urlaub machen kann, wie man es selbst möchte - das Hermitage Bay erlaubt seinen Gästen sich komplett zu erholen. Die Anlage ist klein, fein und nach höchstem Standard ausgestattet. Als Gast fühlt man sich "zuhause". All inclusive ohne genervt zu werden - persönlicher Service und freundliche Kompetenz mit hervorragendem Essen. Klares Wasser, weisser Sandstrand, herrlich weiche Strandliegen oder doch lieber gemütlich am Pool verweilen und auf's Meer schauen? Alles möglich, und mehr! Wassersport, Ausflüge, kochen mit dem Chefkoch, alles ist machbar, nichts ein Muss. Erholen und die "Seele baumeln lassen" - bis zur Perfektion. Ein Traum von A (aufstehen) bis Z (ZZZZ).
