My stay was not pleasant at all. I wanted to leave but I had already the plans with my friend and we had already paid so we had no choice. When checking in nothing is explained about the room. When the porter helped with my bag and escorted me to my room surprisingly he opened the door before me. I found him already in the room firstly thatâs just a red flag because then I question my safety meaning anyone can come into the room . Thereâs no extension for reception thereâs two numbers and the other they provide does not work. The table was dusty along with the kitchen. There was no blockout curtains in the sitting rooms. No bowels in the room and an iron you literally have to WhatsApp them for everything. Following day we requested to changed rooms and even in the other room the table was dusty underneath many other things were missing as well in room. Thereâs no standard at all at the hotel.
My booking at the hotel was canceled. We did not sleep at MINT HOTEL SANDHURST cause when we arrived at the hotel, I booked us in but unfortunately they told us only one room was appearing on their system and not two rooms. It was a battle of phone calls between the receptionist and management.
Then finally I decided that we take our book in papers with us, so that no one will claim that we booked in and slept there. So, I have the papers with me. We did not sleep there. We went and booked again at HOTEL@SANDTON. That is where me and my family slept.
I told the hotel at Sandhurst that I want my money refunded and nothing has been refunded so far.
I was an email appearing that we paid successfully and slept there. That is not true. We were treated bad and I was with my family. It was late in the night. We had no choice cause we were tired, but to leave the hotel and book again at the nearby hotel. I have proof that we slept @SANDTON HOTEL NOT MINT HOTEL SANDHURST.
