Lovely Historic Vintage home. Remodeled inside.
Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful place to stay. 1st floor with private entrance, located in a serene natural setting on cool de sac street next to the woods, in suburban area in Johnston, renovated kitchen and bath with all new appliances, fixtures and linens. Just minutes from downtown Providence, colleges and universities, highway access, supermarkets, restaurants, beaches, activities, malls, and many historic sites, etc. Plenty of parking and big fenced yard.
Spacious apartment in ground floor of nice old house. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, well equipped kitchen for minor holiday cooking. Outdoor amenities looked nice through the rain.
The house was perfect for our 5 day stay. Andrea was very prompt with any questions we had. Very clean, organized, and even my littles had a great time! There is a family that lives upstairs, but they kept to themselves and were quiet! I would rent again in the future! Thanks for everything!
It was a great place to stay to visit many different states. The beds were good and had enough sleeping for my family of 7(shared beds). We had dishes for every meal but needed to wash between each meal. Washer and dryer were nice. It is a pay (1.50 &1.00) to do laundry but 2.50 was provided for first load. I loved eating breakfast out on the patio and watch birds and squirrels get their morning food from the tree. The AC units in each room were nice to control the temperature in the house. One bathroom was bigger than the other but both fit my needs.
The house was very clean and well appointed. The beds comfortable. One bathroom was very small, but worked. The location was close to stores and coffee shops. We may have been told, but were surprised that there was a family living upstairs with toddler and dog .It didn't disturb us particularly, but for some people it might have. The description said there was a covered parking area, but there wasn't one. But parking area itself was fine. Overall the house worked for us while attending a wedding in Chepatchet.
Pro was the 4 beds over 3 rooms as we needed to house a number of adults in different rooming family set ups. The apt was easy enough to get into and the parking was private off street Con is the odd light in the main bedroom â looked like the Death Star and hangs down at 4 ft off the floor in the middle of the walkway. And the baths are very tiny. So step in but donât turn around. The location was a bit further from both the freeways and from main Providence in the end for us. So it was mostly the bedding space that was the benefit here.
Gaining entry took a long time because the instructions were not clearly explained. Once inside an odor was apparent and dust particles in the air immediately irritated one of the parties asthma condition. Bugs crawling on the floor were seen and online photos did not reflect the poor layout of the dwelling especially having to go through the kitchen to get to one of the two bathrooms (3 bathrooms were noted in the online description). Property did not meet our expectations and we made arrangements to stay elsewhere. While at the property we spoke to the agent and VRBO customer service regarding the above and our desire and expection for a refund.
This is a nice little apartment in a quiet neighborhood, but with easy access to stores and highways. The listing description had two inaccuracies: it has 2 queen and 2 full beds (not 4 queen beds), and there is no spa/hot tub/whirlpool. Andrea responded very quickly every time we reached out. We did have a lot of insects getting in the apartment. Though the insects are around because of the nearby woods, the doors clearly didn't seal well.
This was a wonderful place to stay: clean, comfortable, with plenty of room for our family. It had upgraded kitchen and bathrooms and the lines/towels were top notch. It was a quick 15 min drive to Brown University and I liked that we were all together and had a kitchen. We saved thousands compared to booking hotel rooms for graduation. Andrea was a fantastic host. There were restaurants, supermarkets and close by. If you are coming to Providence, this suburban VRBO location is an excellent choice.
We enjoyed our stay here while visiting family in RI. It should be noted that there is one full bathroom and the other bathroom is just a shower. We had 7 people and we were still able to make it work, but a second toilet wouldâve been nice. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
We were in town for a family baby shower. This place was the perfect location for the price. The beds were comfy and the cute tiny bathroom were just fine for us. We felt safe is this home check in was easy and the host was prompt in response. Shopping was just a cpl miles away which made it easy to grab the basics we needed for the quick overnight
My family of 6 stayed at Andrea's place this past weekend and had a lovely time. The home was clean, beds comfortable and the space met our needs for the short stay. It was easily accessible and close to the highway, which made it easy for us to get to Cape Cod, Boston and even New Hampshire while we were there. Our only issue or concern was that we misread the ad and did not realize that the 2nd bathroom was just a shower (no toilet), which was a bit of a challenge for our bigger group.
We were in town for our son's graduation. We were a short distance away from the university and within walking distance to many restaurants. The property manager was excellent with communication and their home was perfect for our stay. Thank you!
We stayed here for my daughter's college graduation from Bryant University. It was a quick 10 minute ride to campus. The house slept the 8 of us comfortably and the kitchen was great for game playing and our meals. Andrea was very well at communicating with us.
