Beautiful views- well manicured garden, cute house
#1 Be sure your vehicle is at the bare minimum an SUV with plenty of clearance. The road up to the cabin is no joke, but well worth the trek! The views and property are spectacular! Enjoy! The house is cute and has most of what you need, but you probably won't be spending much time inside since the outside is wonderful!
This property comes with some incredibly beautiful views and lots of space to enjoy nature. The hot water in the showers was a welcome surprise! The host was great at communication and went above and beyond to help me out. I would definitely stay there again. Would recommend a larger vehicle to make it up there. I have a hybrid with front wheel drive, and some of the steeper sections of road were hard to drive when it rained.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The garden was just gorgeous with so many nooks and crannies to sit, read, listen to the birds and take in the view. We would recommend the property to anyone who needs to get away from the heat and hustle and bustle whether you are from El Salvador or like us, beyond! Only one recommendation to future visitors....Have a 4 x 4 car with good road clearance...The trip up and down is challenging! Thanks Juan Carlos for being an excellent, attentive host.
Ill start by saying the good. The outside of the property is absolutely gorgeous with a breathtaking view of the valley and several towns. Thats where it all goes wrong.
The drive to the cabin is not as listed. It is not a slight incline at all. You dont necessarily need a 4x4, but DO NOT attempt in a standard sedan. A truck or SUV is absolutely REQUIRED. When we finally got through to the cabin, we could'nt even park in the driveway as the car could not make it. We felt completely stranded at that point. The grounds keeper was so kind as to take his motorcycle into town to bring papusas to us. Thank you! The property manager was at least understanding and let us stay the night for free as it was getting late.
When we finally went inside to get ready for bed, we realized how disgusting it was. Used soap in the shower, old food in the fridge, sticky floors, filthy showers, dust everywhere, dirty sheets. We refused to shower and felt it necessary to sleep fully dressed (even in our shoes) with our own blankets covering the bed. We got virtually no sleep as we felt so uncomfortable. The worst rental experience we've ever had. At least we didnt have to pay to be miserable.
