Ocean Front - Kuleana 411

The Kuleana Resort is located between the West Maui mountains and the ocean on the gold coast of Maui. Unit 411 is a one-bedroom, second-floor oceanfront unit amidst lush gardens. It is newly remodeled with granite counter tops and travertine floors throughout. A private lanai affords views of the islands of Lanai, Molokai, and beautiful sunsets. During winter season you can whale-watch from your private lanai. Turtles abound and an on-site snorkeling ramp affords easy access to the water. We have a small beach that comes and goes, but Kapalua and Kaanapali beaches are nearby, as are many other picturesque beaches. There is also an on on-site access to an activities desk where you can book tours. You can do everything or you can do nothing. We were married on the grounds and return every year to celebrate our anniversary.

The condo complex boasts a tennis court and a large swimming pool, suitable for lap swimming. The Kuleana is well known for its grounds which are on seven acres with walkways surrounded by gorgeous plumeria and ironwood trees, all types of hibiscus, ginger and palms. These grounds are tended with pride and are among the best on the west side.

Shopping, dining and golf can all be found within a 5 mile radius. We are three miles north of the excitement of the Kaanapali hotel district which includes spas, golf, surfing, kayaking and shopping. We are about 5 miles south of the famous Kapalua golf course. Of course, you can always stay in and barbeque on the beach while enjoying the sunset. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need.

Great Location on the wayer

We had a fabulous week at this wonderful condo. Great location only surpassed by the ocean view. Saw whales from the lanai and woke up each morning to the sound of surf. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a great Maui experience.

Phenomenal Maui Stay

Bob’s property was the perfect stay for my wife and I. The oceanfront view, the cleanliness, the provided amenities and the location of the Kuleana are unmatched. It is peaceful and quiet, away from the busy hotel areas. There are lots of beaches and shopping within a 10-minute drive as well as a 15-minute walk from our favorite breakfast spot, Java Jazz. The Kuleana is just as great as I remember from my visits here when I was younger with my family.

Our stay at Unit 411 in Kuleana was nothing short of amazing. The location is everything you could hope for—being oceanfront, you can hear the waves gently lapping against the shore while sitting on the lanai enjoying dinner or your morning coffee. The sunsets from the lanai are absolutely breathtaking. Although we had some rainy weather and only caught a couple of truly great sunsets, it didn’t take away from what was an incredible experience overall.The unit itself is very well maintained, clean, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Maui. It’s just steps from a beautiful, well-kept pool, and a short walk around the corner brings you down to the beach, where we were lucky enough to see turtles many times.During our stay, we did encounter a few minor hiccups, but Robert was always quick to respond, and everything was handled smoothly and without issue.I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a stunning location. At the end of the day, it really is all about location—and this one is outstanding.Thank you, Robert and Sharon, for sharing your condo with us. What a view!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and my birthday. The place was wonderful, clean and nice amenities. The view is spectacular! We watched sea turtles and whales( happened to be whale season)from the lanai. There are so many options at this location. You can swim, snorkel or do nothing and enjoy the Sunset. Definitely will return.

Absolutely Stunning!!!

The Kuleana Resort is just beautiful. The landscaping. The ocean. The flowers and birds and Turtles. Condo 411 is located in the best building in the resort. The furniture is comfortable. Including the King Size Bed. The owners were easy to work with. I highly recommend and we will return. Aloha!

First time in Hawaii and Maui

This was a most amazing property with everything you could ever need. The beach front accommodations were an absolute feast for the eyes. Plenty of snorkeling right on property with sea turtles, massive amounts of fish, eels and octopus to see just walking out the back door. Great coffee within walking distance and downtown Lahaina just a 10 minute drive away for a little livelier nightlife if you want it. Property was super clean and had all the amenities you'll need for your quiet stay on Maui. Best views and proximity to nearly everything you'd want. Super safe area and very private!! We'll be back!!

Amazing view!

Actual views from lanai were gorgeous - pictures never can capture the beauty of the ocean. We saw whales and turtles from the lanai. We went to bed listening to the waves crashing on shore. Doesn't get any better! The condo was well stocked, especially liked the Brita pitcher which supplied us with good water without having to purchase bottled water. They even had a first aid kit available. These are just some of the extras that the condo provided. Communication with Bob was excellent. Had a problem with the internet and Bob quickly took care of us. The property was well maintained and beautiful. It was a good week.

Loved the unit

This is a great unit at Kuleana. You are right next to the beach with fabulous sunset views. The bed is super-comfy. The kitchen and bath have been upgraded recently and look great. The unit has beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella to help make a great day at the beach, whether right below your window or down the street at all of the great nearby beaches. It's also right next to the pool. The Kuleana is very close to some great take-out food to enjoy on the balcony as well as 10 min away from the many great choices at Ka'anapali. The community is quiet and peaceful. Robert was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I highly recommend this unit.

Tropical Paradise Getaway

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible apartment in Maui, and we cannot express how much we enjoyed our time there. The location is fantastic. The ocean front lanai offered breathtaking views. We were there in December and saw whales right from the comfort of our own balcony. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and tidy, the kitchen was well-stocked and we appreciated the attention to detail in providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay (e.g. beach gear, extra garbage bags and toilet paper, Tupperware, ziplocks and foil, dish soap etc) Communication with the owner was excellent, and they provided clear and detailed check-in instructions, making our arrival seamless and stress-free. In conclusion, we couldn't have asked for a better combination of a great location, a well-equipped and clean living space, and the added bonus of whale watching from our balcony. If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable Hawaiian vacation, this is the perfect choice.
