Older hotel but kept it up nice. Rooms were outdated but not horrible. Nice pool area with cabanas and firepits for the evenings. Right on the beach (bay). Close to airport and lots of shopping and food. Restaurant in the hotel was great with large portions reasonably priced. Nice staff.

Excellent stay – perfect Maui getaway! We had an amazing 10-day stay at Maui Seaside Hotel from December 20-30, and it was the ideal base for our Hawaiian holiday adventure! The harborfront location on Kahului Bay is fantastic – direct access to the sandy beach for morning walks and relaxing by the waves, plus stunning ocean views from our room’s private balcony. The well-maintained grounds with tropical landscaping made it feel like a true island escape. We loved the amenities: • Refreshing outdoor swimming pool (perfect for cooling off after a day exploring) • On-site Tante’s Island Cuisine restaurant (delicious Hawaiian-inspired meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – we especially enjoyed the local flavors and craft cocktails) • Complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the property • Free roundtrip airport shuttle (so convenient arriving and departing!) • Beach/pool towels and chairs • Laundry facilities The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with modern touches, great air conditioning, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were outstanding – incredibly friendly, helpful, and full of aloha spirit, always ready with tips for the best spots on the island. This hotel offered incredible value with its central location (easy drives to Road to Hana, Haleakala, and more) and thoughtful perks. It made our trip truly memorable and stress-free. Highly recommend Maui Seaside Hotel – we’ll definitely be back! 5 stars all the way! Mahalo! A hui hou!

AC was fine. Staff were great. Room was clean. I appreciated the extra mattress pad, but it would have been better if it were fitted around the mattress. It bunched up and pulled the fitted sheet up. Convenient to the airport.

Safe, clean, and family friendly. Pros - easy to get to, beach access, friendly staff, restaurant (Tante’s) is very good, new lobby & pool area. Cons - deceiving advertising makes it seem the entire hotel is new and renovated when only some rooms and the lobby is renovated, so if you book an old room without realizing, prepare for some unexpected experiences. Shower will be clogged upon arrival, but maintenance is quick to fix. Key cards reset every afternoon, so when you come back in the afternoon, your card won’t work and you’ll have to go back to the lobby to have it reset. Beach access, while close and pretty, you have to scale a sandy viney hill to get to it. Plenty of parking but be sure you display your placard upon parking or you will be greeted by your tires booted. Overall, I’d stay here again but only if it’s a renovated room.

we were missing a bar of soap to shower with unless we overlooked it. (if so...sorry) But other than that, we were allowed in to our room earlier than the scheduled time, which is incredible.Because it allowed us to rest.Given that , we had not rested the night before. ive stayed here multiple times before and have never had a complaint.

WiFi only worked intermittently and only in front of the wardrobe. Toilet was not installed properly and seat shifts unexpectedly. Room was in a recently renovated section of the hotel. However building exteriors look old and unattractive. This hotel is like a poor cousin of the Maui Beach Hotel next door.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was fine (air conditioning super loud) but bathroom was not cleaned well. The hygiene products were half used (soap seal was broken and soap had been used), conditioner was half empty and used soap was left in shower.

The location was absolutely perfect for being close enough to the attractions (Road to Hana and Haleakala), but far enough out of the way to enjoy a slower pace when back at the hotel. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, We stayed in the ocean view room and it had everything we needed and was very updated.
