Our Hawaiian Style Vacation Rental apartment is "Legally Operated" and sits on Kailua Beach, one of Hawaii's most beautiful white sand beaches, and rated among one of the USA's best.

The apartment is in the BACK portion of a beachfront home with it's own private entrance. This spacious room has no view of ocean, but is just steps away from the ocean shore line and large front lawn where you can relax to soak in the panoramic view of the bay. There is convenient parking on driveway just outside the rental unit. The bedroom has one king-size bed and two over head ceiling fans, an 2 table fans for extra ventilation an comfort..There is a connecting private bathroom and shower supplied with bath towels sets an beach towels. The sitting room includes a couch and lounge chair with leg rest. There are 4 floor to ceiling louver windows for cool breeze flow an additional ventilation. There is NO AC.

The unit also has a large study desk / table, TV with cable, and unit is computer “WIFI” wireless ready. The kitchenette provides a microwave, large sink, Kreuig coffeemaker with 4 complimentary k-coffee cups to start tenants off, Malita coffee drip cup w/ filters, electric hot water decanter, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, dishes & drinking cups/glasses, and utensils. Tenants are responsible for their own food an beverages, and all personal soaps an toiletries.

Rental has direct side walk private access to front lawn sitting area where tenants can relax an enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Kailua Bay and Mokulua Twin Islands with steps just at the yards corner to beach. Lounge & beach chairs and boogie boards are included for use at rental beach premise only. There are out side hose's and faucets for rinsing off sand after going to beach and swimming. There are convenient clothes lines right outside rental door for drying suits, towels, an clothes.
No W/D.

During Christmas & New Year holiday periods - 3 weeks before 12/25, and 1 week after 12/31, we prioritize a 4 day minimum booking, including the holiday.. then fill 2-3 days periods in between.
Rates are based on 1-2 adults and all reservations are made through "instant booking" on a 'first come' basis.
We accept tenants 21 years an older . . . We do not accept children, or infants.
All credit fees of 3% are paid by traveler.

- 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR FULL REFUND.
- 15 - 29 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, HALF REFUND

Excellent base and very kind host

My sister and I spent a couple days here before the rest of our family met us. We loved Kailua and were so excited to stay on the water. I had been worried about not having AC, but with all the fans provided and the ventilation from the windows we slept great. Although we already had a plan of what we wanted to do Shari was very helpful and was happy to give suggestions or chat about ideas for plans. Being just steps from the beach was such a gift and we had an amazing time!

A Perfect Rental in a Perfect Spot

Our dear friends stayed in the room next to ours, and we all met up on the beach (just steps away) for sunrises, coffee, and beach breakfasts, lunches, and dinners! Shopping, restaurants, groceries are all just minutes away, but once you have your supplies there really is no need to leave this well-equipped and perfectly situated property sitting on the most beautiful beach you likely have ever see! Also, the host is next-level nice and friendly. A perfect rental.

Wonderful stay!

We loved staying here. The rental is super clean, stylish, and steps away from a beautiful beach! The water is gorgeous and the sand is so soft. Walking along the beach in the morning was a highlight. Paddle boarding and checking out the many nearby beaches and trails was super fun. This is a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Oahu! Thanks to Shari for being a great host! We hope to be back!

Kailua Beach / Hawaii’s Best

This is an apartment which is perfect for a couple. It includes plenty of space, a modern kitchen & bath, and comfortable King bed located in a quiet neighborhood just steps from 2.5 miles of Kailua beach. From the door, walk 25 steps on a private walkway to a well manicured, ocean view lawn which is yours to share with another couple and your hosts. Walk another 25 steps and you are on the beach where you are greeted by a magnificent sunrise and dozens of well behaved dogs (and their humans) each morning.

Wonderful place at an amazing location

Having a parking right at the beach.withbquick access to town and neighboring beaches has made this stay truly magical for us. Shari is an incredible host and we'll definitely recommend dealing with her to anyone who needs a place in Kailua.

A lot of money for a lot of hassle

The property was okay, and bed was comfortable. However, the dishes and linens were old, mismatched and looked as if they came from a clearance bin at at thrift store. Tenants get one towel, hand towel and washcloth for an entire week’s stay. The worst part of this property is the host. Shari was a nuisance and made us feel very unwelcome. She would see us multiple times on the property and say everything was fine, and then send us texts one to two hours later while my husband and I were out enjoying hikes, tours etc, accusing us of entertain in the unit, when we simply asked our children ( who were residents or had other lodging) in to say goodnight. Shari texted us while we we on a tour that cost us 800 to tell us we disturbed her other tenant two nights prior, when we had just seen her in her driveway before we left for the tour!!! The tenants she was referring to were in the other side of the residence with at least two walls and multiple square feet of property between us, and she waited until over twenty for hours after they left to bring this up via text while we were enjoying one of the highlights of our trip. I asked her to stop texting me and speak to me personally if she had any issues. She replied by offering to refund us for the rest of the trip if “needed to find something that better suited our needs”. She would make this offer again on Christmas Day when I complained to VRBO. I had to block her for the rest of the trip to have any peace!

Location. Location. Location!!

This location gave us the perfect beachfront oasis we were looking for! The accommodations were clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and perfectly fluffed pillows. Shari made check in and out a breeze. She also gave us a lot of local restaurant recommendations which were worth absolutely worth the hype! If you are looking for a private and peaceful beachfront getaway, I highly recommend this spot!

Left 2 minutes after realizing what we had expected was far from what it actually was. We realize views and privacy mean different things to different people but this has neither. Would not recommend it if the expectation is what is advertised.

Perfect Beach Escape

Our four night stay at Shari’s place in Kailua was the perfect beach escape to start our November week in O’ahu. The apartment was comfortable and provided everything we needed. The location provided a short walk to Kailua Beach for daily dips in the ocean and long morning walks. Access to the center of town with a good selection of restaurants was under a 10 minute drive and close enough to Honolulu for those wanting to explore a little further away. Shari’s communication before and during our stay was excellent. We hope to return again soon.
