Welcome to Kona Pacific A-102! A spectacular property that's extremely spacious! A-102 has 1227 interior square feet & a 357 square foot lanai! Exquisitely remodeled from top to bottom. Granite Counters and Hickory Soft-close Cabinets!
There are 2 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, a unique & special offering for a Wonderful Vacation.
Right in the heart of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island, there are NO STAIRS to access this unit and there is a keyless entry system for ease of access.
A beautiful ocean view from the lanai for sunset relaxing. Amenities include: a king bed, 2 twin beds (converted to a king by request), and a queen sofa sleeper. Fully appointed kitchen with dishwasher. Large washer/dryer in unit. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room, with Air Conditioner (honestly you don't need it with ceiling fans and sliding glass doors to the lanai in every room).

A couple of things stopped me from giving it five stars. My husband and I had the twin bed room and the bedding was so bad, cheap and nasty and slippery. I should have gone and bought my own sheets but suffered through. The pots and pans in the kitchen are old and probably should be replaced, and a pair of tongs would have helped. Both are small things though and I would stay there again.
The lanai was great, we usually ate out there
The sunsets and rainbows from the lanai were wonderful. Easy walk to the Royal Kona.

Unit was great. I have stayed at another unit in the complex so I knew the building and the amenities going in. The parking on this unit is top notch which was great. The location of the unit close to Ali'i Drive is nice. The unit itself is well laid out with both rooms having their own ensuite and a/c units for both the rooms and the main area. The unit was fantastic and well equipped for our needs.

Kona Pacific A102 met all our needs and then some. The accommodation was spacious for the four of us. We appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom plus an extra bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with good cookware and utensils and enough dishes and glassware to host a party (we didn’t). We cooked many times during our stay and the only problem was that the oven temperature seemed to fluctuate and not get quite high enough. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of spare linens and pillows. We watched TV together several times in the airy and inviting living room, which had enough seating for everybody. The lanai was large and quite private despite being on the ground floor, and we had a view of the pool on one side and the ocean on the other. We enjoyed eating at the outside table, comfortable even on hot days because of the fans. We made use of the washer and drier almost every day--nice to go home without dirty laundry. We were here for the Ironman, and the location was perfect for that--an easy walk to the race start but far enough away to avoid the commotion. Ironman runners passed just yards away from the apartment twice during the competition. We were all very happy with the apartment and highly recommend it for families or two couples.

We really enjoyed our week stay here. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Nice big lanai :) we would stay here again. Note that the parking garage is a very close fit it you have a large (we had an Expedition) SUV. Easy walk to nearby abc store and restaurants.

Perfect location for a Kona Vacation

This was our second visit to this unit. Its best features are that it is within walking distance to downtown Kona and all the shops and restaurants. The unit is also well situated within Kona Pacific on the first floor (no elevator rides), and a few short steps to the pool. The condo is a good size with two bedrooms and three full bathrooms (which did not get used). It is very well equipped as far at the kitchen and beach supplies. The large TV was appreciated. We just wished there was one in the master bedroom. The lanai is large and well furnished, making it the perfect place for breakfast and lunch. Communication with the property management company was generally good. Because of a plumbing problem that was going to require extensive repairs, they efficiently moved us to another condo. But, next year we will be back.

Perfect Place

We were really happy with the condo. The location is great. Really close to town (3min) walk). The unit itself is on the corner and has good size balcony with a partial ocean view. I loved sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine watching the sunset. The pool is very close which is convenient but maybe in summer this might be more noisy. We went in December so there were only a few people at the pool as the weather was overcast. They have beach chairs but unfortunately they were very old and broken, we managed without as I had brought a light weight beach blanket from home. The beds were decently comfy .. very soft .. I prefer more firm but I was comfortable enough. We went in December so there were only a few people at the pool and some days min as the weather was overcast. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed to cook breakfast. check in process is a bit extensive with signing multiple documents before you go and then another one when you arrive. However we were able to get in to the condo by following the precise instructions! We had a great time staying here at this condo. It was spacious for our family of 4 adults. I would recommend this condo if you are staying in Kona.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The pool is literally down the hall, so the kids loved it. We walked down to Huggo's for dinner or had Mai Tai Flights across the street at the Royal Kona. Our house was clean and spacious. My wife needed to get a foam topper for our bed, but it seems we are the only humans that want soft beds when we travel. Thanks TARGET for having that in stock. Kitchen was well stocked so I could cook most anything I needed. Beach toys were well loved before we used them, but it all worked out great. Not happy the prices, in general, have tripled since the pandemic, but i guess its still worth it.

Wonderful property-Poor Management Company

Normally I would give this property five stars, but the management company is the reason for a lower rating. The condo was spacious,well furnished, and well equipped. It sits next to the street on the ocean side, first floor. The pool is right outside but there is little noise. The location made it very easy to get to parking, the pool, and exit to the street. Shops and restaurants are only a couple blocks away. The A/C units could not keep up with the afternoon sun from the ocean side so we had to keep the living room fairly dark. Ocean gear was appreciated although we did not use it. The management company started off by telling us that our reservation was not valid unless papers were not immediately signed. Upon arrival we received multiple unfriendly messages not to check in early. We had a SEWER GAS smell emanating from under the sink. It forced us to have the patio doors open at all times. The management company told us that this was an "ongoing issue". On our last day they offered to send the building manager which we declined because he had told us that it was not an ongoing issue and unique to our unit. As VRBO owners ourselves, we would have had a plumber there within hours. On departure they sent a message warning of FINES if the unit were not left clean enough. They constantly tried to get us to use their app and only book through them (not VRBO). Then they urged that no reviews be posted other than on their website, and excluding anything negative. Really?

Reunion with siblings

This place was selected since our sibling also has a condo here. It did not disappoint. The only comment was the air conditioner was very loud and made it difficult to talk while on the lanai due to the noise. We had 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which was perfect. Couldn’t get much closer to downtown Kona and the market place since we didn’t have a car. Ocean view was perfect. Highly recommend this unit.

Hello, Kona Pacific was just what we needed for this trip. Easy access to the elevator and parking lot. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The outside patio dining table was perfect for dinner with a nice sunset after a day at the beach. The location was also convenient and felt very safe being there.

Very happy with this rental! Check in was easy, very clean, the condo had everything we needed. Walking distance to shopping and eating, which was great for my mom who is in a wheelchair. The underground parking was great, and close to the elevator for my mom, and stairs for us. Condo property was very quiet at night, and pool always had room for us. My mom was able to step into the pool and enjoy some pool time. Beds were comfortable, pillows could use an update, and an extra roll of toilet paper or two for a two-week stay would have been a thoughtful addition (however, that would not deter me from renting again.) We appreciated the coffee above the fridge, as we checked in after a day of travel after midnight. We also really appreciated the ice maker. Two suggestions for the owners: a smaller cooler for drinks and a sun umbrella would be great additions for equipment, but again, that would not deter me from re-booking.

Modern Condo

The condo is great. It it very clean and modern with updated appliances. The pictures are accurate. The resort is gorgeous and right on the beach. The resort is close to restaurants, shops and the market. We would definately stay there again.
