OCEAN FRONT facing, RENOVATED 2nd floor END unit with great SUNSET OCEAN VIEWS!!

Enjoy this comfortable oceanfront facing, newly renovated second floor end unit, overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean! From the private balcony (lanai), it's easy to spot frolicking dolphins from this perch, and we have a set of binoculars for close-up viewing of humpback whales during the winter whale watch season. You’ll see outrigger canoes with local paddlers cruise by, as well as the Parasailing vessel and fishing boats trolling to catch fresh Mahimahi, Yellowfin Tuna or Ono!

It’s also fun to carefully explore the tidepools out beyond the guard rails when the tides are low or just enjoy them from the railings. Sunsets from this location are enchanting and can be very romantic, and during certain times of the month, you might even catch the moon set into the horizon in the wee hours of the morning!

This condo home is appointed with special touches to make your Kona vacation one to remember. The beautiful cherry wood kitchen cabinets are fully equipped with many comforts of home, so cook to your heart’s content. Under counter lighting helps brighten the food prep areas and the beautiful quartz counters are exquisite and easy to clean. We have 3-coffee making options, which include drip, Kurig and French press with water kettle and coffee bean grinder.

Enjoy that big ocean view from the living room and/or lanai while you sip your morning coffee. The ocean views are memerizing and can be quite entertaining. Then after a full day, while others in the complex stroll down to the water’s edge, just sit back and relax as you’ll get to enjoy those enchanting sunsets right from the privacy of this unit!!

The Cal-King bed is extremely comfortable and we also have a walk-in closet with chest of drawers to stow your personal belongs out of the way, an ironing board and iron, fans, extra blankets/pillows and a vacuum. There is a sofa sleeper in the living room, or alternatively, a foldout futon mattress if needed. We also have an apartment sized washer/dryer for your convenience, to use during your stay. The unit does not have air conditioning at this time and it can get warm.

Centrally located very close to downtown Kona, (a little over a mile), you’ll find shopping, restaurants and entertainment, or take a short drive to Kona coffee country, awesome beaches, beautiful golf courses, and all that the Kona coast has to offer.

We've got beach gear and coolers in the lanai closet for your use, and countless other items to make your visit complete. Plus, we have free WIFI for internet connectivity and there’s even a book exchange library by the pool, for those that prefer relaxing with a good book to pass the time.

This centrally located, ocean front facing condominium unit in Kailua-Kona, is owned by a long time Kama'aina ('local resident') of over 40 years, whom is also a licensed Realtor with Compass (lic# RB-15047) of Kailua-Kona.

Sweet Spot was amazing

If you like private, amazing view of the ocean from the place you stay including sunsets, if you like to hear the crashing of the ocean waves all the time, if you like an open and breezy feel, if you like a clean, comfortable home with all the amenities you desire then this place is for you. The location is great, the resort is great and the place has one of the best views on the island. I spent 20 days there in Jan/Feb of 2025, 20 perfect days. The owner was supper responsive to all questions and made sure I was well taken care of. 10 out of 10 for sure.

Great place!

We really like the condo. Perfect views of ocean. We watched whales and dolphins while having breakfast on the balcony. Well equipped. The pool was very nice too. Easy walk downtown. Owner was very quick to respond. Would definitely stay again

Lovely Little Spot

This unit has one of the best views in the whole condo complex. We liked the layout of the unit. The owner was very responsive and nice. I let her know that there was a little ant problem and that the teflon frying pans were trashed and she responded quickly and said she would take care of both issues right away. There were a couple of items that could probably use updating due to the normal ocean air deterioration. I.e. the patio chairs were pretty rusty as well as a few of the metal kitchen utensils. The entrainment equipment was really nice and the TV service was great. The bed was comfortable. Overall though, a real nice place!

Condo location/view were amazing. Communication with Susan was great, and she responded quickly to any questions. Things like towels, mattress, and some kitchen amenities could use some sprucing up, but otherwise, I would rent it again based on our stay. Mahalo!

Lovely Get Away

My husband and I have stayed in this complex before and find it is perfect for our needs. It is close enough to downtown Kona to walk in and convenient to beaches to the south and quiet. The pool and outdoor grills are great. This condo had a perfect unobstructed view of the ocean and we could sit at the table on the porch for breakfast or the couch for cocktails at sunset. The kitchen has 3 coffee makers (drip, kurig and French press) and adequate dishes and cooking equipment. There were also beach supplies including chairs, coolers and snorkeling equipment (we had our own so did not explore). There were multiple ceiling fans so we did not miss air conditioning and it has a washer and drier. The only issues we had were there were some small mites in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks, but they disappeared toward the end of our stay. Most importantly we chose the refundable damage deposit rather than pay for insurance since two people in their 60s and 70s don’t typically incur a lot of damage. I sent a message as we were leaving about the timeline and process for refunding this deposit but have not received a reply and it has been 2.5 weeks. If this is resolved, we would absolutely ok again

Pretty good...but

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at the property for the most part. The unit is well equipped for eating in, laundry and having things to use at the beach was awesome. The only negative was the fact that the property has no AC. Yes there are lots of ceiling and portable fans but honestly, they do little to cool the place down. We had every fan going but it was still rather warm for sleeping and even with windows open it was still hot. I did not do my proper research before booking as i normally do as I would not have booked this property just because of the AC. If AC is not an issue for you, then this place is almost perfect

Down by the Sea

Lovely property with amazing views of the crashing waves, beautiful sunsets, even the cruise ships looks lovely lit up at night. Property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to restaurants and downtown Kailua/Kona, yet tucked away from busyness. We had no real need to communicate with management. The only concern is that we did not observe smoke detectors or a deadbolt lock as described.

What's not to like about being in Hawaii?

Reasonably priced condo. Perfect view of the Ocean. Kinda dated, poor lighting. August is not a good time to come to a condo with no AC. We'll be back, but not in August

Wow!

The location and view are out of this world. Every night the neighbors all gather waterside to watch the sun go down. Just drive north, south or East and let the adventures begin.
