This was our third stay at this property. Being located right on the waterfront, it has an amazing ocean view...somehow even better than the pictures. No peek-a-boo view here! It has sweeping views of the bay. Sitting on the lanai, you can watch boats, canoes, cruise ships, the pool, and, of course, the sunset.The complex has very nice, well-maintained common areas, and is in a great location. . The unit itself was very clean and well-stocked, including beach gear. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable enough, but we opted to use the Murphy bed in the living room, which also was quite comfortable.Teresa, the host, was very friendly! Check-in was straightforward. There is a lockbox for first-time entry. Tip: you will need to enter the combo to both open and close the lockbox....not a problem. This unit is on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator, which could be an issue for some.Overall, great stay!

Quiet, third-floor condo with comfortable lanai, well-stocked kitchen, and gorgeous views! There were many highlights to our stay at the Sea Village in Kona, Hawaii. Location: Sea Village is located right on the main street, Ali'i Drive, in Kona. It is only 22 minutes from Kona International Airport, 18 minutes from Costco, and less than three from the shops and restaurants of downtown Kona. The condo has easy and plentiful parking right next to the stairs (there isn't an elevator, so be prepared for two flights to reach the room). It's also within ten minutes drive from two different farmer's markets and Kahalu'u Beach Park (easy snorkeling). The unit itself was tastefully appointed, with lots of seating options. It is also well-equipped for adventure, with multiple snorkel sets (fins, masks, and snorkels), a cooler, umbrella, and beach towels. We started most days by eating breakfast outside. The complex has four sparkling barbecues and we never had to wait for a barbecue to cook dinner. We ate dinner on the lanai and then had a perfect view of the sunset. Bonus: we were there for the fourth of July and had the perfect view of the Kona fireworks over the bay!The only downside of this beautiful condo was the temperature. While it has a wall AC unit in the Living Room, the bedroom (located on the opposite end) never got below eighty degrees (despite strategic fan placements). We slept on the murphy bed in the living room (which only got down to 75 degrees).

32 steps but overall best steps

Property and condo were fantastic!!! The only downside if you have any physical issues, i.e. i have a meniscus tear in my knee ( just Hesperia prior to vacation) and my husband has a VA disability rating retirement for his back . The 32 steps up to the condo with luggage then groceries was a bit of a challenge. This does not in any way reflect the condo or owners. Condo was beautiful and the hosts are excellent. Also the bed was the most comfortable VRBO bed we have ever had. At other locations we have ended up buying mattress toppers just to be able to sleep. Highly recommend this property / host. Only thing to be aware of is if you have physical issues there are 32 steps, lol.

Condo is fine but ....

The condo itself is fine. It is well equipped and in a central location. Descriptions and pictures of the condo are an accurate depiction. The complex is well maintained as well. The owners checked to make sure things were fine.We experienced a family emergency, causing us to shorten our stay. We communicated directly with the owners about our situation. However, there was a delayed reply to our inquiry regarding leaving early and a possible partial refund. Evidently, owners are not able to influence VRBO policies on refunds even though life happens. They did, however, continue to communicate on items they wished us to check in on at the condo. While the condo is a good place to stay, the level of communication and lack of refund left a sour taste in our mouth.

Great location on the water and close to town

If you want a great view of the water from your condo, a very quiet complex, and want to be close to the busy town of Kailua Kona with many shops, restaurants, and attractions this is your place. Teresa was so helpful and responsive to our questions and helped us navigate the island. Easy to find and in a walkable area. The condo has all you need to eat in and relax in a well stocked unit. But what is best about this condo is the view, the view, the view!

So nice we stayed twice!

After our original Big Island stay last winter, our tween begged to return to this comfortable unit. We enjoyed the freshly plastered pool, new lanai furniture, reef-safe sunscreens and upgraded kitchen knives. Teresa is a phenomenal host and you couldn’t ask for a better view. An outstanding property and wonderful hosts

Superb in every respect! The condo was immaculately clean with a spectacular ocean view. The air conditioner kept the living room and kitchen comfortably cool, and the large bedroom really only required a floor-stand fan, which was thoughtfully provided. We slept really well as the bed itself is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need for food prep (including sharp high quality chef knives) and the Weber grills in the courtyard were great for grilling meat and fish. Our hosts, Terry and Rick, were incredibly helpful before and during our stay. When the entire complex (and surrounding neighborhood) lost power they were quick to check in with us to insure that all was in order after the electricity came back on. Highly recommend this wonderful condo for your stay in the Big Island.

Kona Home Away from Home

My wife and I had a wonderful three week stay at Teresa’s condo. The condo was meticulously clean and neat as a pin. The pictures on the website are accurate. We also really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and all the beach toys provided for our use. We cooked a lot while we were there and didn’t want for anything. The BBQ area on the property was also a real plus. We were also pleased with the frequent communication from our hosts who were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The star of the show was the view from the lanai. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular and we spent a lot of time just enjoying the view and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart. I can highly recommend this property. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great Balcony View

The place was clean, quiet, and centrally located. It had the items listed and everything worked. I brought an extra tower fan into the bedroom from the living room and that worked out great. We used the BBQ one time in the courtyard. It was spotless and worked great. The views of the ocean can not be beaten. The pool was heavily chlorinated but that's expected with all the kids using it. The shower in the pool bathroom was unexpected and very nice to have.

Nice Unit with a Beautiful View

A very nice unit with a gorgeous view within a mile of town. You can tell that the owner takes very good care of the condo. The layout is nice and the furnishings are well maintained. The grounds are well maintained with grills, picnic tables, and a pool. The owner left a lot of instructions about the condo and property along with a lot of information about the Big Island and activities. The owner also responded to questions promptly. The one downfall was the bedroom never cooled off, even with all the fans running. Mahalo to the hosts.

Comfortable and beautiful stay in Kona

My daughters and I stayed for 6 days and enjoyed everything about this property. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay remarkable. The owners were extremely gracious and helpful about providing ideas and sites to see around the island. They also communicated timely and made our stay extremely welcoming. This condo has a beautiful view, fully stocked kitchen, beach accessories, AC and extremely comfortable beds! I can’t say enough good things about our stay and are so looking forward to returning one day!
