Aloha & Welcome to the Kona Bali Kai Complex located on Ali'i Drive in the heart of the famed Kona resort area across from Banyan's surf break and approximately 3 miles south of vibrant Kailua-Kona. Just steps to the on-site local "poke" eatery. At the oceanfront, there are BBQ's and picnic tables and a sandy beach. There, you can also see lots of turtles in tide pools and watch the dynamic and capable surfers at the adjacent Banyans Surf Break (one of the best surf spots on the island). There's an outdoor salt water pool and spa, too!

Unit 251 is located in the back of Kona Bali complex on the makai side (mountain side) of Alii Drive, where it's super private and very quiet. Wake up each morning to our native birds singing in our completely updated unit. You will love the 65 inch SMART TV, Wifi, Daikin AC extra load unit which will cool the entire condo down on warm days in a matter of minutes. No need to go off site for laundry, we have a brand new full size front loading washer and dryer. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need should you choose to cook at your home away from home. The living room has a sofa bed to accommodate 2 additional people. Newly painted with a beachy vibe throughout. Make this your tropical island getaway.

The location is convenient - close to everything in Kona, and internet is fast - if you need to catch up on work. Terry is a great host and responds very promptly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tropical Bungalow. It was very clean and in excellent shape. Everything was there from beach chairs to snorkelling equipment. The host was easy to contact and replied in a timely fashion. We were close to shopping and dining and the host provided great ideas on day trips and exploring the Island. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location with ALL the amenities

We were so pleased with our stay here. It was the perfect location for our first stay in Kona. It was comfortable and did not lack anything. Brand new washer/dryer, every kitchen accessory, bed was comfortable and bathroom well stocked. We enjoyed walking across the street to watch the sunset a couple of nights. Highly recommend staying here. It is a well taken care of property. The owners were always prompt with answering any questions and making sure we had everything for our stay. Thank you for making our stay extra comfortable!

Roll the dice for this paradise

The condo was nice with a functional kitchen and lots of utensils. The king bed was very comfortable, the living room was bright and airy and the large tv was a treat. The condo location was good with the local Kona Trolley stops near. The sunsets across the street on the shore wall were great. Having A//C was wonderful when needed otherwise we just used the fan functions. A BBQ and picnic bench are close by.We stayed for a few weeks and ended up leaving most of our clothes and personnel stuff in our suitcases. It would have been nice for some drawers there was only half a closet. We did not use the balcony, a bit small.Street auto sounds can be heard, especially from the locals with their auto subwoofers turned up to max.Upstairs tenants. A third of our stay we were constantly disrupted by the gross behavior of other visitors above us, some with kids. Stomping, running, heel banging and heavy items dropping. This can happen to anyone if there are any Dinosaur brained tourists above.To summarize, this unit was comfortable, the location good and the host was nice, a good place for short stays.
