Korora - Kaiteriteri Beach House
Korora, named for the Little Blue penguins that are local to the region, is an architecturally-designed "treehouse" nestled in and above the native bush. Marvel at stunning views of the golden sands of Kaiteriteri beach and bay, the Richmond Range, Kina Cliffs and Tasman Bay.
Korora has unbeatable location, with stunning beaches at Kaiteriteri and Breakers Bay a scenic 10-15 minute walk down through native bush via a well-worn track that brings you out to the Kaiteriteri waterfront and beach.
Korora is wrapped with two covered and one uncovered decks, with stunning views and seamless indoor-outdoor flow for summer months!
Enjoy the peaceful serenity at Korora, while still being less than a 5-minute drive from the local store, cafes and bars! The keen fisherman can catch brown trout from the nearby Riwaka and Motueka rivers, and even bring them back to cook on the BBQ for dinner!
Round off your stay at Korora by visiting the spectacular limestone caves on the Takaka Hill, and of course a famous Golden Bay vineyard! Please note that there is a ripple control hot water system at this property.
Korora shares a driveway with Kaiteri House which can be found by searching 'Kaiteri House'.
Competent reversing and towing skills are required at this property, as the driveway is steep and fairly tight.
Please note there is on-street boat parking available.
Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.
We had a fantastic stay here. The house is beautiful- lovely views and short/pleasant walk down the hill to the beach.
I would love to come back some time!
We stayed at this property on the hill at Kaiteriteri, it overlooks the bay and Motueka and Nelson beyond however with the deck areas gets excellent sunshine until later in the day.
The property is located up an extremely long driveway containing many homes. Arriving later in the day it wasnât easy to locate as the numbering was on the side of the garage up a short turnoff, not at car level.
It was well equiped and spacious with all we needed. The linen was of a high standard.
Wifi was unavailable which was disappointingâŠwe knew this in advance however in this day and age it must be something the owners should consider.
All in all, a great time was had by all !
Modern, clean, spacious batch with an amazing view right across to Nelson which can be seen from both inside and outside on the balcony.
There is a convenient access track from the house to the centre of Kaiteriteri which takes only 10 min.
We would highly recommend a stay at this batch.
This bach is just as pictured, perhaps a bit better. Most things are new and in good nick. The upstairs is one big open room with a view that's lovely all day, watching the estuary fill and empty. Short (although somewhat exciting) drive down to the boats, or a nice bush path, and not far to marahau. Our manager Diane was friendly and available, and took care of an appliance problem quickly.
