This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!

Once you get used to the idea that nobody will be there and there is no front desk, it's a very good place to stay. The room was great, the location was excellent, the only complaint is that we never could get much warm water in the bath/shower.
