This place is very large and comfortable. The location is exceptional. We appreciated the sound machines since the cars in the area could be very loud. Weâd definitely stay again.
The place was really unique and industrial looking. Very close to lots of things that you could walk to or drive. We drove because we didnât know the area that well. The only downside to this place is that you are right by the highway and lots of people felt the need to drag race their cars right outside the apartment, at very late hours of the evening. Now I know why there were a bag of ear plugs in the cabinet. But, it is a city so youâre gonna hear noises.i suggest the ear plugs or noise canceling headphones, because those drivers are inconsiderate and loud! My only suggestion would be more blankets, coffee creamer and maybe a book or something about check-out process/wifi/what to-do, since Vrbo app sometimes isnât the best and doesnât always notify you when you have messages. Other than that, it was a very cool place to stay and I loved all the decor and the vibe. I also got a great chuckle at the huge Patrick Mahomes billboard outside the window, as none of us like the Chiefs. So, it was like he was taunting us the whole time. Made me laugh!
We absolutely loved the location and we walked to several places nearby, but there were groups of bikers both nights right across the street just revving their engines until 2 and 3 am. The VRBO has excellent insulation from most all normal noises, so had it not been for the bikers who seemed to gather every night, it would have been nice and quiet.
Love the location for this property! We walked to everything we wanted to do. The beds could use improvement but everything else about the property itself was wonderful.
We stayed over a weekend and the area is pretty active until well into the night, calming down after 2 or 3 am. There were people driving around on really loud ATV's at night but that is really an issue Kansas City Police needs to take care of.
Roomy modern renovated 1800s building - 1st class remodel. Great for family w/teens wanting their space. Instructions for using washer would've been helpful.
