Location is good , But the hotel facility Is old. Air-conditioner Temp controller was not working Room temperature was 18° . Only way to increase the temperature is to turn off the air conditioning Then temperature went up to 20° . Room is very small .

more need to be done to be qualified as a 4-star

Hotel.com gave this hotel a 4 star rating , but in my option, it is a 2.5 star hotel. everything inside the guest room are aged. As a four star hotel, the guest room needs an overall remodel. I attached a photo i took as soon as I walked into the room. There was a deflated balloon left on the floor, in front of the sofa. This caused me to wonder how this room was cleaned before my occupancy.

Oldie but still a goodie

Stayed at the hotel almost 20 years ago and to be honest nothing changed much. The channels on the TV are quite limited. But have to say the location of the hotel is near to the subway, the Love River, and good food all within 5-10 mins walk.

Nice hotel with great staff.

Arrived at 12:30pm from Hualien and was checked in immediately even though check-in time was 3:00pm. Very professional and friendly front desk staffs. Closed to many food stalls and restaurants. Near to MRT station, 150m and one stop away from Cijin island where we went for seafood. Enjoyed the wide selection during breakfast. Will definitely stay here if we come to Kaohsiung again.

Overcharged, But Dirty and Old

Bath Tub water was not running well. My feet were soaking into soapy water. Reserved 2 double beds , but ended up have to pay much more to get a 2 beds room. Staffs didn't speak English well , and wasted 1.5 hour to explain what I wanted. I needed to go down stairs several times to tell them what's wrong with my room ( Diapers Smell ). And we needed to change to a small but same high price the next day. It was hassle.

Satisfying stay at Kingdom Hotel

Great location, easy to walk to most places that I wanted to see. Easy to get to rest of city by public transport. Good street food nearby. Clean, comfortable rooms!
