The Home:
Hale Awa'puhi is a blissful getaway on the oceans edge. This gorgeously renovated home invites the island "in" with sweeping ocean views and a fully retractable glass wall to create the ultimate open-concept living space! The living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai harmoniously become one space with cozy furnishings, tranquil colors and a private, serene oceanfront setting. The light, bright, beautiful kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a full-size gas range, ample preparation space and informal counter seating with beautiful quartz countertops. The nearly-single level, 1240 square foot floor plan is fully air conditioned and features two bedrooms, each with a full bathroom en suite. The third full bath and queen sofa sleeper make this home comfortable for up to 6 guests.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable condo. Comfortable beds. Great ocean view. Small private beach. Kitchen was well equipped. Location is great halfway between the south and north shores. Communication with the host was outstanding. I would highly recommend staying here.

So nice staying at a small condo complex with only a handful of units. The geography at the property makes it very private without anyone from the public walking between the condo units and the water. Amazing views and turtles feeding at the beach right outside tge unit just 20 yards away. Plenty of space in the condo with everything you might need during your stay.

A very nice location and condo, but we had problems. First it advertises that it includes a Sonos sound system. My kids like to listen to music and none of us could get it to work. The 'support' never helped us with this despite multiple messages. The internet was spotty and dropped regularly. The grill did not work two of the three nights I purchased food for grilling and again the 'support' said 'this is the responsibility of the outside maintenance'. Last I asked where to take our trash and it took three days to get a reply. Too bad when you spend this kind of money you want to not have these kinds of problems.

Quiet escape

Quiet and comfortable. This property is in a good location close to coconut marketplace where you can grab food and treats. Lovely ground floor walk out with easy access to pool. This unit worked great for our family of 5.

Beautiful property and amazing location!

My family of 5 (3 kids under the age of 13) had a FABULOUS stay at this property. We would definitely come back. Kapa’a is a very convenient location- very close to the airport and easy to get to both the South and North side of the island. TONS of great food within walking distance (Kintaro, Napali Brewing Co, Fillo’s Kauai, Lava Lava Beach Club, Passion Bakery (malasadas)). The property itself was modern, spotless and roomy with a well stocked kitchen. Safeway, Costco and Target are not far so we were able to purchase food and do many meals at home. We watched the sunrise every morning. Beach toys for the kids are a plus. The beach outside the property is a little rough for swimming but there’s a sandbar that creates a calm enough pool for the kids to swim and even snorkel. Check-in was a little rocky- the email only provided a gate code, not the front door code which we didn’t realize until we got there. Luckily, Ashleigh responded to our calls very quickly and provided the right code. Be sure you have BOTH codes when you get your check-in info. Ashleigh/management were always very prompt in answering our questions, which we really appreciated! We absolutely loved this property and will look to stay here when we return to Kauai. The beauty of the island, the kind people and the aloha spirit have captured us!

Beachfront Dream

The location of this property is hard to beat! We’ve vacationed on Kauai many times and it was our first time staying in Kapaa. It is now our go to location! The oceanfront views and the sounds of crashing waves were unexpected treats! The condo was great! Extra bathrooms, well appointed kitchen. We even made use of the games the host had available. It was a fantastic place to stay. Management was very responsive when we had issues with internet. Expect issues in the masterbedrm- I think issue is its location frankly. Rest of condo was fine after reboot. Overall it was amazing! And we are already planning our next stay.

Overall beautiful property. Beach at condo was pretty rough, not a great beach to hang out on. Only complaint with unit was a sewer gas smell, which property manager said had been reported before. Coming from unit upstairs. First night it was really bad, after that just sporadic. And tv system way too complicated to operate. Other than that, very nice property.

Another great stay

We stayed here last year as well and decided to return for the location, peacefulness, and the niceness of the property. The condo itself is wonderful- beautiful bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds, fun family games to play, and a great little library. Outside, the beach is right there, the pool is clean and readily accessible, and there are plenty of chairs, toys, tents, etc. to take to the beach in the closet. We loved this location since Kauai was rainy at times and we ended up chasing the sun from north to south, east to west. Everything is within an easy distance.

Beautiful Sunrises & Convenient location

Very clean condo with exceptional views of the eastern coastline. Every morning we woke up to gorgeous views of the sunrise right from the comfort of the condo patio. Beach access was literally steps from the condo patio. Small beachfront directly down from the condo grounds allowed us to swim in relatively quiet surroundings. Pool was clean and the grass landing by the pool made for a lovely area to read a book during the day. Kitchen & condo was stocked with everything we needed for the week. We would definitely stay in this condo again.

Perfect waterfront location with stunning views

The condo was absolutely beautiful, and the views and location were gorgeous. We saw the sea turtles in the surf eating algae off the rocks. We also saw many whales spouting and breaching in the distance. Having a well equipped kitchen gave us the option of cooking several of our meals with the view of the water. It was a short walk to a wonderful shopping area. My sons enjoyed the sunrise from the sleeper sofa. A wonderful family bakery is just across the street.

Spectacular Location

Well placed on the island with excellent access to the beach. Views from the unit were amazing. Very clean, well-maintained, and updated. Very nice kitchen with everything you would need for usual meal prep. Only recommendation would be to add dimmer switches or table lamps. The overhead lights were so bright it kind of killed the mood of the place.

The condo is absolutely beautiful and well located. The pool is warm and delightful. The ocean in front of the condo is a bit rough with a lot of rocks. We walked down the beach a bit to get in. There are beach chairs in the storage closet off the patio - we didn’t realize that until our last night 😕. The WiFi can be a bit sketchy. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Remarkable property!!!

We will definitely return to this place next time we are in Kauai. Conveniently located and secured property made us feel safe whilst on vacation. The condo is perfectly appointed with everything you need, kitchen is thoroughly set up with every comfort appliance you can imagine. The bedrooms were quiet and the lanai is unbelievers! Literally steps from the pool and beach and set up in a way that you didn’t hear your neighbors.
