The staff were ok. The location is great, it is close to the zoo, Biertheimer Allee which is a very nice little park.
We made a reservation during the summer, our room had a very small AC, which was not even make the room just 2 or 3 degrees cooler. Very hot, difficult to fall sleep. The minibar was not working, even the water bottle they put in the minibar was hot! Breakfast was very good but still in a warm room, where also flies were flying around.
Other than that everything was fine!

Posted May 19, 2023 on HotelsFantastic service on both English and German, although obviously better in German. Quiet and located in a great area. They were able and willing to accommodate a late arrival although it was not necessary. I struggle to think of anything that could have been different or better, especially for the price. I’m almost disappointed I haven’t tried any other hotels in Karlsruhe, because I will never stay anywhere else when in town. AMERICANS PLEASE NOTE: it is not typical for German buildings to have air conditioning, and I believe this hotel is not an exception. You can limit the amount of heat in your room by closing your black out curtains during the day.

Good option for a central Karlsruhe stay

The room was nicely furnished but the odor of urine that permeated the bathroom at night (through the bathroom vent) ruined the stay. We had stayed here in the past and strangely experienced the same thing. You will be disappointed here.
