We booked this hotel based on positive reviews. However, our experience did not align with the online reviews. Therefore I felt this review necessary so others are informed.
Pros:
1. Newly renovated and room was clean and large enough for 3 people with lot of luggage.
2. Staff tried to be as helpful as they could.
3. Located in a market where food etc is easy to find.
4. Walking distance from some attractions.
Cons:
1. Biggest issue we had was the timing for breakfast which was not mentioned on Expedia. We paid additional money for all 3 days stay to have continental breakfast at hotel. However, breakfast time does not start until 9:30 AM and when you do order the breakfast at 9:30 AM then it is not ready until about 10 to 10:30 AM. This is extremely late for tourists and all other hotels in the area serve it by 6:30 AM to 7 AM max.
2. Too noisy for people who like to retired by 9 - 10 PM to sleep as there is bar at the bottom and room does not have good soundproofing.
3. Located in a very busy street and not easy to find for local drivers.
4. People bring the motorcycles and scooters in a small courtyard and make it harder for people to pass through and get to hotel lobby.
5. Room's lock did not work. Dead bolt closes but too far and therefore room never locks.
6. We also had to call them for multiple other issues such as internet, TV, and bathroom.
