Cabin had a bit of trash in it (empty coke bottle, trojan package behind couch, unopened bottles of liquor in the freezer). No trash bag in bathroom trash can, fridge & windows could use a deep clean. Cabin was cute, but had an awkward layout. Not much to do outside: picnic table was old and needed sanding, veryTexas with lots of wasps flying around, saw a few ants inside the cabin. Overall, owner was friendly. Had to ask for access information the night before arriving. Just okay for us.

Our stay was GREAT! The quaint cabin was perfect and our host (Daniel) was wonderful and very attentive to any questions we had! He was so kind to change our reservation due to a need to leave a day early! It was a peaceful and quiet place to land after visiting Trade Days! Cabin was beautiful.

Cabin was absolutely gorgeous and view was amazing to the pond. My only complaint is the wifi, I did try to do some work during my stay and it was unusable. Even trying to stream movies didn't work. But it was very relaxing and if they fix the wifi i would definitely recommend.

Amazing!

We stayed for two nights and it was the perfect little get away. It’s just far enough away to feel like you’re in your own little world. The cabin is so spacious and the bed is SUPER comfortable! Everything you need in the kitchen to cook if you want. The hosts are so quick to respond to any questions! We will 1000000%. Be back in this little slice of heaven!

Wonderful little getaway

We had a great time at the Red Star cabin for an adults only getaway for my birthday. Place is very well appointed and has everything you would need, even cool extra touches like a French press set up which was fun to try and little extras in the fridge and pantry for you to enjoy. Very organized and tidy as well! Bed was comfortable and ladder was sturdy and safe to get in the loft if you’re worried about that life my husband was. We are tall people and didn’t have issues in the loft. Communication with host was quick and helpful if we needed anything. Only cons (very minor) - tiny fridge, so don’t bring a lot of food; pond was covered in algae so could not fish but we got to watch some wildlife!; bed needed a couple extra big pillows. Overall a great little place to getaway that’s still close enough to food and activities if you want to venture out. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend!

This cabin was so cute and accommodating! I’ve never stayed anywhere that included so many things, so thank you for all the little details and thoughtfulness! The views were beautiful and it was secluded enough from other people. The water was a little high to be able to appreciate the bench, but it was nice to look at even from the couch!
