This house was even better in person than I expected from the listing. It was spacious, clean, well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed and was delightful. Our hosts really thought of everything for their guests. They were very responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

The Hospital House in Kearney was by far the nicest VRBO we have stayed in during our many years of VRBO usage. The house was so well kept, clean, well laid out and such a great place to relax after our busy days. One of the primary reasons we stay at VRBOs is so that we can cook to save money with our crew of six and the kitchen/dining area did not disappoint. It was beyond fully stocked with everything needed to cook and more.All of the rooms, furniture and bedding was very comfortable and the difference between the upstairs and downstairs was great with the old charm up and new features downstairs. We absolutely loved this house and this stay and would not hesitate to rent this house or from the owners again. Check in was a breeze and so was the checkout process.Thank you so much for sharing this great place with the VRBO community!

True to Pictures & Comfortable!

This house is awesome. It’s always disappointing when you get to a VRBO and the house isn’t as expected, or the beds are cheap and hard as rocks. I had the best experience at this property, the beds were comfortable, the house is as lovely as in the photos, and it was setup with many nice touches - more luxurious than some houses I’ve rented. The towels were soft, the kitchen well stocked. Checkout was a breeze with minimal requirements before we left. The owners were kind and responsive when I messaged them. If you’re going to be in Kearney, I definitely recommend this place.

Brought out our daughters for a wrestling camp-the house provided everyone their own space and plenty of activities to do together. It was one of the cleanest and roomiest VRBO's I have ever stayed. The beds were VERY comfortable. Plenty of dishes that we could cook at home each night (grill provided). thanks!

Fabulous Family Time

This property was ideal for our weekend family get together. Even though the weather outside was less than perfect, we enjoyed all of the amenities that this home has to offer. Very clean, wonderful updates, and spacious. Jeff and Patty are super hosts and quickly responded to our questions.

Graduation week

This house was perfect for a family to hang out together during all the festivities of graduation week. House was very clean and beautiful on the inside. The grill was an added bonus great backyard plenty big for all of us to spread out. Kitchen was stocked well. We would definitely stay here again..

First time using VRBO - this house set the bar so high!

I was in town for a conference and stayed at this LOVELY home with a colleague (and later a couple of other colleagues stayed with us for one night because we stayed up so late cooking and chatting!). It's less than a 10 minute drive to Younes Convention Center.This house had everything that we could ask for and more!It had a fully stocked kitchen (appliances, plates and utensils, even spices for making yummy avocado toast!, coffee, tea, sugar). The appliances seemed very new and were in great working order. We spent many hours seated at the dining room table (seating for 8), talking and eating. The bedrooms and living spaces were tastefully decorated and so, so comfy. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 in the basement (not sure why this listing said there were 3 bedrooms, there were 4?). The beds were very comfortable! The bathrooms (1 on the ground floor and 1 downstairs) were gorgeous with deep bathtubs for soothing baths. They had thick towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and blow dryers.There are 3 TVs - one upstairs above a cozy electric fireplace, one downstairs in a common area and one in the master bedroom downstairs.There is a place to park your car next to the house which is great. The host was very accessible through the VRBO messaging app and answered my questions quickly. Gosh - I hope every VRBO experience I have going forward is as good as this one though! It totally felt like "home". Thank you!!!

Super home in Kearny

House felt like home with all the furnishings and comforts. Super clean and in a great location. Walking distance to cute Downtown Kearney and an easy drive to Crane watching. Would stay here again for sure. Great communication with hosts.

Oasis in Kearney

Visiting Kearney for our 4'th Crane migration. The wonders of witnessing but a minuscule portion of their massive journey never gets old! This house is a beautiful update of a lovely old home: Hardwood floors, wood trim and fine workmanship of yesteryear graced with modern updates, tasteful decorations, comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen made for a fabulous home base. Jeff and Patty are wonderful hosts, great communication, and the check-in/check-out process was painless. We're already talking about our 5'th trip for the crane migration and will definitely stay here again!

Crane Migration

We traveled from WI to Kearney to see the spring Crane migration. The house was great. The hosts were very helpful with information and responded quickly to the emails I sent. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, and everything was in really condition. I would definitely rent this home again!! We stayed March 11- March 15th.
