Nice old pub but could do with a refresh. Service was ok, staff driendly and polite. Food was average; lots of items not available and was was available was ok. Room was clean. Pillows provided were quite poor and a comfy chair to sit on would have been nice for relaxation.
Could be cleaner and needed updating. food was very good for money. Our room bathroom was very small a large person would struggle. Would we stay again no
Our recent stay at The Old Silent Inn was simply magicalâa truly perfect slice of Yorkshire country life! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by this 400-year-old inn, which manages to blend historic character with comfortable, modern amenities.Â
The location is exceptional, nestled quietly just a short distance from Haworth, in the stunning Bronte Country. For walkers, it's an absolute dream, sitting right near the Pennine Way and only three miles from the historic village of Haworth and the famous Brontë Parsonage Museum.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had an evening meal here which was excellent , menu above average pub menu. The bed was really comfortable , the bedding smelt so fresh. The shower was powerful and hot. Enjoyed an ample breakfast with menu choice for the smaller appetite. Taxi to Haworth only cost ÂŁ7.00
The stay was over all ok. Our problem was the sink in our room, the plug got stuck in and silver surround around the plug was off, it was on the edge of sink. Water was very peaty abd looked dirty, didn't dare use it for drinking for ourselves or our dog.
Today the chef didn't know how to make poached eggs so had to pick alternative.
Overall the food and staff were good but thecwhole place needs an overhaul. Window pane seals gone, guttering needs repairing. Got doaked walking through yhe entrance from water gushing from guttering. Outside areas need a tidy up. Weeds everywhere. Dead flowers in hanging baskets from last year by the look of them.
Its the 3rd time we have stayed here but we think it will be our last unfortunately.

Bei Buchung wurde ein Zimmer gezeigt, das uns
sehr gut gefiel aber leider hatte das ein anderer
Gast. Pech fĂŒr uns.
Mainly pleasant stay except for the miniscule shower room with no hand soap provided and only cold or lukewarm water from the shower. I asked the staff to look at the shower but they were unable to resolve this issue. Not fun for a whole week.
Myself and my partner stayed here over Easter the staff were amazing so friendly and the food was amazing we enjoyed ourselves so much it is a lovely friendly place cannot fault anything there our room was so comfortable and lovely and clean
A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made
My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC
Overall a good cheap little hotel. Didnât try the food. Had some drinks. Disappointed I couldnât taste the wine before buying (bottle was open. Got told no you canât taste it but you can smell it!) đ thatâs a first for me.
