Relaxing break
Lovely cottage and location . We ended up staying an extra night as no one was booked in . Only minor fault was stuff in the welcome pack and cupboards was out well of date so we never got to use the coffee machine .
Certainly didn’t spoil our holiday .

Cosy Autumn Stay
Great week in a very comfortable cottage. Great location for visiting Keswick and walking the fells. Lots of walks from the door and the cottage was a great base to return to.
Quiet street, easy parking. Well equipped kitchen, cosy log burner and plenty of space for a family of 4. This was our second visit to this great find of a cottage.

A fantastic base for the lake district
We had a lovely week long stay at Glenderamackin cottage. It was the perfect base for exploring the Central and North lakes, with everything we needed within 20- 30 mins drive. The hard floors made it easy to manage a muddy dog after some big walks, and all the rooms were very comfy. The only small tweak we'd have liked would be to add a full sized indoor broom.
Overall an amazing find, and we are keen to come back.

Fantastic stay
The property was spotlessly clean and in excellent condition.
The living room was comfortable and cosy.
The kitchen had all equipment that you would need and made self catering easy.
The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable.
It was in an excellent position. Close driving distance to Keswick and lovely walks straight from the door.
We will definitely look to stay again.

A great weekend away.
The cottage we stayed in was very nice and loads of space . An ideal location for trail running and long dog walks
Threlkeld and keswick were not far away.
Loved the doggy treats that were left out.
Our only complaint would be that the tv in the lounge had no freeview channels .
Had to mirror with my phone.
The log burner was lovely and comforting. The ash tray was not emptied by the last guest .
Also the welcome package in the kitchen. All the biscuits were well out of date .
Otherwise everything else was perfect.
And would stay there again .

Brilliant Base Camp
Our first trip to North Lakes and have fallen a bit in love. Glenderamackin ticked all our boxes: spacious, modern but still quaint, bike shed, well equipped kitchen, cosy and warm. Also a really great location just off the A66 and a couple of miles from Keswick (lumpy miles if you go by bike). Planning to book same time next year. Keswick Cottages were a joy. Everything was really well explained and when I asked questions by email they replied within 12 hours.

Lovely house in quiet village
Me and the doggo had a fab stay here. Cottage is clean and comfortable, had everything I needed and the best views from main bedroom (the second bedroom ain't bad either). Spent most of our indoor time upstairs, reading and contemplating climbing Blencathra. Which we did. Fun trying to spot the cottage from the summit! Keswick Cottages great as ever, have stayed with these folks many times now, first time here. Usually in Keswick - which is a 10 minute drive door to parking away.

Excellent cottage
Glenderamakin Cottage is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was perfect for our short break, enabling us to easily visit Keswick, Grasmere and Ambleside. The steps to the front are steep, although level access is available through the back yard. There is no enclosed grassy area for dogs, only the rear yard, the garden is shared and across the rear access drive, but you can exercise dogs along the road at the front. Views from front and back are amazing.

Cottage Lakes
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Glenderamackin Cottage.Yes it is outside of Keswick but a short walk through the woods and onto the old railway track. Excellent bus service from Keswick to return home. Very impressed with the starter pack contains the necessary goods. One or two problems with the internet service and the television but a kind member of staff from Keswick Cottages arrived and sorted the issue. Overall there is everything you need and good walking from your doorstep. Would recommend access to the property earlier than 4pm. However, would certainly use this property and company in the future.

Stay in Threlkeld
Overall the cottage was very good, location was spot on for what we wanted. Only issues were the inside of the fridge door was slightly broken so when storing the milk it is tilting slightly. Also, would be good if some basic cooking essentials were provided e.g salt and pepper, more than just one roll of toilet roll. Also maybe helpful to have some hooks on the wall near the front door to hang wet coats, there are some behind the utility door but may also be useful having some near the front of the house.

Lovely property, great location
This was our first stay at Glenderamackin Cottage, and won't be our last, we are already looking at dates we have off work to get another visit booked.
The beds were really comfortable and the rooms had plenty of space. Stunning views from views, especially on an evening when all you could see were hundreds of stars.
The location was fab, we walked along the Footpath in front of the house and got onto the Threlkeld to Keswick Trail, which was a fab walk, about 4.5 to 5 miles and then an easy bus ride home after sampling a few beers with the dog.
The added bonus if having the little Farm Shop 2 minutes walk from the door was great from fresh milk and bread.
The only negative we had really was that the oven wasn't easy to use and to find the right setting took ages as the manual doesn't replicate the dials on the oven, we got there eventually through trial and error....this was a very minor negative though, everything else was great.

A short break
Nice property, well presented and contained everything we needed for our stay.
Great having a walk just a couple of hundred meters from the front door!
The steps to yhe front door are quite steep and there is quite a bit of (daytime only) traffic to the business centre.

Short stay
We stayed at Glenderamackin cottage Monday- Friday, a lovely spacious, comfortable accommodation with wonderful views of Blencathra and Clough Head. It’s a perfect location for walking, plenty of routes from the doorstep. The cottage has everything you need.
The pub and community cafe are only a short distance away and are very good.
We will certainly be booking for a week next time.
The team at Keswick Cottages (Rebecca particularly) were very helpful with any queries or help needed.

Clean cosy cottage
The cottage location was excellent, 2 mins off A66 but a very quiet location in row of other homes and cottages. The cottage was spotlessly clean. Great modern bathroom with powerful shower, perfect after a long day walking in the rain. Only downside was a slightly uncomfortable bed, and no equipment for the log burners so we didn’t use them. 5 mins drive from Keswick, but also plenty of walks directly from cottage so no need to move the car to enjoy the great fells and trails of the Lake District

Lovely stay in the Lakes
Glenderamakin house is really well equipped and furnished and very comfortable. Further away from Threkeld than I thought but quite easy to get to it and then on the wonderful old railway trail down into Keswick. Very much appreciated the bike store which you don’t often find.
Only negative would be the key boxes for house and shed were difficult to get into. And the steps up to the house would suit younger people than us more.
Could the owners provide a washing line as pegs were available.
