This 2-bedroom + loft/2 bath, 950 square-foot condo offers comfortable, clean accommodations with basic furnishings. This condo is situated just 3 blocks from the Warm Springs lifts. The condominium has a ground-floor entrance with two bedrooms with queen beds and one full bath on this level. This unit does not have A/C.

The living room on the second level has a 55-inch flat-screen TV with cable, along with a wood-burning stove (firewood is not provided). Wireless internet is available. The cathedral ceiling allows great light, and there is access to a deck with southeast views. There is a double sofa sleeper in the living room. The loft, accessible by ladder, has a bunk bed with a twin on top and a double on the bottom and is open to the living room below. The second full bath with a shower is located off the living room.

The dining table seats six, and there is additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. A remodeled open kitchen with granite countertops is fully equipped for cooking meals. A stack washer/dryer is located in a hallway closet on the main level of the unit.

Complex Features: Smokey Plaza condominiums are located on the corner of Skiway and Ritchie Drive in Warm Springs and are within walking distance to Warm Springs lifts on Bald Mountain. The free shuttle stops 1 block away and provides service to downtown Ketchum and the Sun Valley Resort. The complex has a hot tub in the common area.

Self-check-in is not available at the property. We strive to make check-in as quick and easy as possible so you can start enjoying your vacation! Reservations are unit-specific. Overall the property fit our needs , we had all we needed , the propane tank did run out when we were cooking and the slider screen was ripped, downstairs shower was dated , but all in all we enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room

Needs to be updated in a bad way

The pictures for this property were likely taken from 1997. Everything was super old. The beds were rough. I tried sleeping in different beds so i could hopefully get a better night sleep but to no avail. Several lights didn’t work. One has a short in it. It was like we were eating in candlelight. The TV was limited. The DVD player didn’t work. Great that there were so many games, but they were stacked up by the fireplace but looked like my 12yr old organized them . The chairs around the table were maybe replaced in 2002. It didn’t feel like a rental but rather like i was staying in an old couple’s condo that have no attention to detail. I feel bad sounding so spoiled and definitely shouldn’t expect a whole lot more for the price but the pictures on the site are misleading. $5-$9k in updates would go a long way. Automated locks and thermostats would be great. The proximity to the lifts was great. It was a 5min walk, super convenient.

Well-designed for an easy ski trip

This property worked well for our family of 4 adults. The 2 bedrooms are pretty small and they share a bathroom, but it works. Love the separate heated mudroom with ample hooks, ski racks and boot racks. Plenty of storage space for all ski equipment. It's an easy, 5 min or less walk to the Warm Springs lifts. The furniture is dated - dining room chairs definitely need to be replaced, but the kitchen is obviously recently remodeled and is a pleasure to use. The baseboard heating is also a plus, as every room has its own thermostat. Our youngest adult found the loft to be a great sleeping area (the stairs to the loft are steep - do not recommend an older adult take them on). All in all this property works very well for a group of skiers and their needs.

Very disappointed with our stay

Pluses- location was great. Everything else was very disappointing. Carpet was super dirty and they didn’t clean it till half way through our stay and then they came unannounced. My husband was on his work call and it was very disruptive. Second, main bathroom light and exhaust fan were broken. And one of the chairs fell apart as soon as my husband sat in it and he fell down. No compensation.

I give this property a overall grade of B- Pros: Kitchen stocked very well with pots, pans, utensils, etc. Beds were very comfortable Property was clean (except carpet) Nice washer and dryer. Modern kitchen with nice countertops. The overall place was a little dated, but it was clean — which trumps dated. Cons: WiFi was super slow — we struggled with an online college class, doing work, and streaming movies. Had some movies there but the BluRay player didn’t work. Hot Tub was cold and not usable. We always rent properties with a hot tub or a pool because the kids love it. Huge disappointment. Property had no A/C. When we first arrived it was 87 degrees. After opening the windows and running fans we got it to cool down. But first night was tough sleeping especially in the loft. Carpets needed to be cleaned. White is tough to keep clean. Living room felt cluttered with games and videos sitting out. This is just me and my OCD to put everything away.

Nice location and property. A little dated, but clean. The British “Karen” who lives in the adjoining condo was less than friendly and a damper to our stay
 other than that, property was as listed and a great basecamp for our hiking and exploring in the Stanley, ID area.

Family Getaway

This condo was the perfect getaway spot for our family hiking vacation. Close enough to the Sawtooth Mountains, far enough from bustling downtown Ketchum. The condo was very clean, well-equipped, and quiet. Our kids delighted in the games, especially the bag of LEGOs! We did miss to have an a/c but managed to cool off at night.

Nice Condo in a Nice Neighborhood

This is actually a 3 story condo with a small loft style bunk bed room on the 3rd floor. Two bedrooms on the first floor with one bathroom and laundry room. The second bathroom, kitchen and living area are all on the second floor. The kitchen is well equipped although there was no coffee or filters to make coffee in the morning(s). Place was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and on the outskirts of Ketchum not "in town", which was fine by us.

Easy walk to slopes

My only comment would be that the steps to get into the loft are very "ladder-like" and though we didn't have small children, it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Perhaps a pic of the "ladder" would be a good idea. We were impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was and loved the fire place with stock of wire wood at our disposal. We would definitely consider staying here again!
