Here’s why I would go back, the beds were absolutely heavenly. The room smelt refreshing, and that was so very comfortable. The pillows were like little rectangles of clouds under my head. The room was delightfully soundproof and I did not hear the outside cars or people. The check-in was nice enough until I was told I was being charged five dollars for having a deposit box in my room. I told him I don’t want that and she then rescinded it and said she’ll come in and take it out??? The breakfast was not as good as many the other hotels. The sausage was burnt to a crisp and the eggs were merely reconstituted and scrambled. There’s a couple cereals and some bread for toast and stale apples. There was a great Belgium, machine. Again, I would come back here gratefully for having the sleep experience that you would normally have at a Marriott or those heavenly beds.

There was a sign at the front desk that alerted us of insects. It said because of the weather we basically may see bugs. The guy at the front desk said we won’t see any. Welp that was wrong. There was a huge cockroach in our bathroom. Alive. We did an inspection of the rest of the room and found a dead one in the closet and a dead grasshopper next to the bed. We weren’t expecting a luxury hotel but this sure made it hard to sleep.

Pleasantly surprised as I don't often stay in Kettleman City nor in Days Inn, but this location was very clean and my room was quite comfortable. I wish I was staying for longer than one night! I enjoyed the warm breakfast the next morning before heading on my way!

We enjoyed our two nights here! Our room was clean and we loved the little balcony!!! We had a view of the mountains, which was nice. Good breakfast was offered, too.
