Tucked away in an inviting compound you'll find a blissful retreat called Namaste; a tranquil and relaxing one bedroom Balinese style home . The quiet compound is located just one block from Duval Street combining the best of both worlds for relaxing and taking advantage of all that Key West has to offer. Within 2 blocks you'll find Key West classics like The Bull, Sloppy Joe's, and Hog's Breath as well as a plethora of delicious restaurants. Venture just a short distance further to Mallory Square or the famous Historic Seaport. It's easy to see why this location is unbeatable. You do not need a car at this location (there is no parking provided) everything is walking distance or a quick bike ride away! The shared compound, of 6 total homes, features a winding brick pathway surrounded by tropical foliage and flowers that lead to a free form unheated pool tucked away in the far side of the gardens. Take a refreshing dip, lounge and catch some sun, or enjoy a good book while being surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. This truly is a relaxing outdoor oasis! Enter through the front gates and walk through the gardens along the pathway as you toss your cares away. Upon entering Namaste's door you'll be greeted by a private courtyard. An small outdoor dining table is surrounded by bamboo, vibrant tropical flowers, lush green plants and trees creating a private outdoor oasis. Meditate on the relaxing sound of the garden's water fountain, take in the scent of aromatic flowers or enjoy a nourishing breakfast among the plants and wildlife. Inside the cottage tranquility and harmony continues with calming hues contrasted with dark wood and reed ceilings. Plenty of windows throughout provide natural lighting and enjoyment of the outdoor gardens from indoors. French doors from the tranquil blue and green living room open to the garden for the ultimate indoor-outdoor living experience. The living room blends ocean tones with the comforts of home with a sofa, chair and television tucked away in a beautiful detailed armoire. The full kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and hood range. Just off the kitchen is a full bathroom with shower and slate tiling. Above the kitchen, accessible by spiral staircase, is a lofted retreat area perfect for yogis or readers looking to be warmed by the sun. Excellence in Key West

Namaste is a wonderful property. It might be the best vacation spot we’ve had. You are at the most less than quarter to a half mile from the tourist attractions, the sunset, and a plethora of restaurants. While it is a block from Duval, it is quite quiet. Fausto’s grocery is nearby with a great deli and butcher shop if you want to grill a steak. Lyft or Uber is really all you need for longer journeys. Parking is expensive. Namaste’s deck is terrific for the sun worshipers. We loved Namaste.

This is the place to stay in Key West

Having been down to the keys for 12+ fantasy fest and other trips, we have stayed all over the island. To date, nothing has compared to the location of Namaste. Property is great. Small compound with very few properties. There for 8 days and only saw other couples 3-4 times the entire time. Access to the bars on the north end of Duvall is 2nd to none. From your front door to refreshing drinks on Duvall inside of 3 minutes, walking. The property itself is great. Namaste is unique in that there is a loft upstairs that has a balcony overlooking the compound. My wife loved the opportunity to head up there with a frozen drink and tan during the day before heading to Duvall. Also, she used the loft daily for yoga. Was great having space for her to exercise and tan in complete privacy. The property was better than advertised on VRBO. Very clean and arrival/check in was simple. The host was incredibly responsive to any questions I had when we checked in. It is always good to stay someplace for 8 days and not have to reach out to the host/property management anytime after your initial check-in questions. If you are traveling down to the keys and are looking for a great place, 1 block off Duvall, don't book anywhere else. The only reason I will ever stay anywhere other than Namaste would be to it already being booked. This would get rated higher than 5 stars if it was an option.

Perfect retreat for couple or small family

We stayed at Namaste for 6 nights during our 10-year anniversary trip. The location was perfect-walking distance to Mallory Square, the Pier, Duval Street, and all the attractions Key West has to offer, but still tucked away in its own private retreat. We felt very safe as you have to access three locked doors before entering the house. The décor, landscape, and accommodations were 5 star. It was obvious the owners put forth a lot of thought, planning, and energy into designing both the indoor and outdoor space. There is a loft upstairs with a day bed + trundle bed with access to the rooftop deck, perfect for a small family. Thank you for a wonderful week we will never forget!

Check the Event Calendar ahead of time

My husband and I were going to Mexico but due to COVID we decided to stay in the states but still wanted tropical. We chose Key West as it was a place we always wanted to go and since the cruise ships weren’t docking there we thought it would be and less people. The location of the house was great if you want to spend your time on Duvall at night. We rented bikes so rode all over the island and We Cycle is a great place to rent from. If you are looking for relaxing in the sun I don’t think this is for you. It is a lively place and the beaches are not close or very nice in Key West. Dean and his maintenance team are great so that part was no issue. The pool has too much shade but was clean and nice. The compound is quiet even though it is a block off Duvall which is a party all night. The home is comfortable including the bed. You have everything you need to live comfortably. We did not cook this time because there is so many places to eat out close by. We walked and biked everywhere. Take the Hop on hop off early so you know where you want to go. Scheduling an excursion or two on the water is recommended because that is where the beauty of the island is. A week is too long, in my opinion, but everyone has different taste. Be sure to check the event calendar before you go! There is a lot going on but it is a very relaxing, casual, laid back area to get away.

Absolutely one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed in all of my life. My wife and I had all the privacy that we wanted among being a short distance from Duvall Street. Everything was within walking distance. The pool was tranquil. When we travel back to Key West we will definitely be rebooking this location.

Great stay!

Property is exactly as described which is to say it was perfect! Great communication throughout the entire process with Dean. We even rode out Tropical Storm Elsa which thankfully caused little damage/disruption and the landscapers and pool cleaners were on-site the next day making sure everything was pristine. Namaste contains everything you could possibly need. the air-conditioning worked great and the bed was super comfortable. Our only regret was having to leave after 5 wonderful nights and Dean even made that easy by letting us store our luggage at his office and make a quick change of clothes before our flight later in the day. Namaste was five stars all the way around!

Absolutely amazing property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Namaste. Although we had been to Key West several times in the past, staying at this property made this our favorite trip to Key West yet (that and COVID keeping the cruise ships and most of the other tourists away, giving the island the quaint, quiet, laid back feeling we remember from 40 years ago). The location was perfect, with everything we needed within short walking or biking distance. We were a little concerned about being a block off of noisy Duval Street, but the neighborhood was very quiet and we had no trouble sleeping peacefully with the windows open. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and so completely and comfortably furnished, it prompted my partner to ask "Do you think they would sell it to us fully furnished?". She particularly enjoyed having the loft and rooftop deck as her own private office / retreat. The lush enclosed garden was a blissful jewel where we relaxed, ate our meals, and did our daily yoga. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the washer and dryer were a real bonus. Dean was extremely responsive and helpful with some minor problems, and we greatly appreciated his recommendation of We Cycle for having a pair of great bikes delivered before we arrived and picked up at the end of our stay. We cannot imagine returning to Key West and staying anywhere else in the future! Thanks for spoiling us!

This property is beautiful. From the grounds to the actual condo. It’s secluded on a small side street but literally 2 minute walk from Duval st. It stayed completely quiet even though it was so close to EVERYTHING. We were a short bike ride from beaches and other attractions. Dean has literally thought of everything to make this place a homey, yet luxurious getaway! He was easy to contact during our stay with questions that arose. We WILL be staying again! This IS Truly Paradise!

This property deserves more than 5 stars! I’ve stayed at many properties on the island, this is by far my favorite. Dean was very helpful and attentive to all of my questions. He made it very easy to check in and followed up promptly to make sure I was comfortable and happy. The pictures do not do this bungalow justice. This will be the only place I ever stay in Key West!
