The Space:

Step inside the Cozy Mountain Retreat and discover a thoughtfully designed space perfect for your Black Hills adventure. The house features three comfortable bedrooms, each offering a queen sized bed and ample storage for your belongings. Two full bathrooms provide convenience for all guests. The living room is a welcoming space to relax, complete with comfortable seating and a cozy fireplace, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations in the dining room, or take them outside to the patio or balcony for an al fresco dining experience. Outside, the backyard offers a private hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars, along with a BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Free parking is available on the premises.



Guest Access:

You will have full and private access to the entire house during your stay. This includes three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a spacious living room. Outside, you are welcome to enjoy the private backyard, patio, and balcony. Rapid City Regional Airport is the primary gateway to the area and is situated approximately 45 minutes away by car. Since public transit options are sparse in this mountainous region, having your own vehicle ensures you can easily reach the property and explore iconic routes like Iron Mountain Road whenever you choose.

Check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is by 10:00. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests please note that smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only issue was while we were going to enjoy coffee on the deck in the morning, the next door neighbor decided to mow the lawn right below us and at one point right beneath us throwing grass clippings in the air. I thought he could have waited.

The perfect vacation rental in the hills

This cabin had everything we needed for our family vacation. It was extremely clean and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The kids especially enjoyed the large yard, hot tub, fire pit, and waving at the train. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful place for a family get-together!

We had a family reunion and this place was perfect. The kids loved the large yard and the fire pit at night. The house was spacious and clean. It is very centrally located - which made all of our site seeing easier. The view from the deck and backyard was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely house

Our stay was great. While the bedrooms are small the rest of the house is very spacious. Plenty of room. The home is well kept. It is very clean and the basic things you need are provided. It has a well kept front play area and a fire pit. The deck is great, with a nice view to relax by. Great location!

My husband and I stayed here with my parents and our 4 small kids. It was in a great location just outside of Keystone in a beautiful quiet area. We loved the large yard next to a little creek in back. The train going by was a special treat. The cabin was well maintained and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings also. Annual trip to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

This the second time we have stayed at this cabin during the rally. We love the location. It provides great access to many of the places we ride to but it is quiet and safe. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to SD, especially during the off-season when it is less expensive.. Owners are great? Thanks.

A great location and perfect for all the local attractions. Well equipped for 4 adults and 4 kids, clean and well kept. Outdoor barbecue and fire pit available too for enjoying the cool evenings and night outdoors. The amenities inside the house need some upgrading, some bathroom doors do not lock either. We had a fun time and enjoyed it overall.

For my family this was a great home away from our home for a time. We enjoyed the setting in the Black Hills. We had turkey in the yard in morning and deer every night. Yet the drive to town was less than two miles. We enjoyed the fire pit and the deck made grilling convenient. The house itself was very good. I'd give it five stars but for the absence of WiFi

Centrally located location great for exploring the Black Hills. Home was clean and as advertised. I might even say that the interior was actually nicer and larger than the pictures make it appear. Our two year old loved the 1880s tourist train running through the back yard! (Don’t worry. Train does not run too early or late and is far enough away to not even hear if the doors are closed.)

Being it was the off season was perfect for my husband and me. It was nice to relax and not be around lots of people. It was nice and clean. Thank goodness it was not busy with the place being in close proximity to a road. We did have an issue with the internet, we did call and message to get it figured out but no one responded. Very nice property on a great location!

We loved this property! It is in a perfect location close to everything. The description is very accurate. When we arrived everything was well kept. We had the opportunity to see a lot of wildlife because we were so nestled away. The train passing through is a great addition for the kiddos. Our only issues were: the air conditioning is a window unit and it would get hot during the day but at night it was ok and there is only only garbage can(with eight people it filled up pretty fast). I would recommend this place to anyone it works great for a family vacation spot and Susan is great to work with!!
