Cozy Top-Floor Maui Parkshore Condo

Welcome to beautiful Maui and our inviting condominium at Maui Parkshore! From the lanai on the top floor of this well-located resort, your eyes will feast on the tropical, beautiful surroundings just two minutes from south Kihei’s favorite beach park, Kamaole III. Jump into your swimsuit, grab a boogie board and beach chair, and in minutes your toes will tickle in the warm sand leading to the incoming waves.

This ideal location offers many benefits for your vacation. Numerous restaurants with varying cuisines are nearby. The elegant Wailea Shops just down the road are nestled among high-end resorts and beautifully landscaped properties. Options to enjoy snorkeling, diving, kayaking, fishing trips and whale watching excursions (during the winter months) are available.

Our own lovely grounds have 4 professional-grade gas BBQs next to a covered patio with picnic tables. The shuffleboard court nearby is much used. The lovely swimming pool with lounge chairs and tables is a favorite for all ages.

The grocery-type carts in the corner of the building will easily transport your luggage via the elevator to our condo on the 4th floor. A reserved parking spot is waiting for you in our guest-only, well-lighted parking lot.

When the afternoon sun reaches the condo, we greatly enjoy the cooling effect of our lanai screen. As the sun begins to set, the awesome, breathtaking sunsets preclude the perfect end to a perfect day.

CONDO FEATURES:

KITCHEN: Recently-renovated kitchen provides ample dishes, silverware, baking and cooking utensils, as well as basic food preparation supplies -- spices, seasonings, etc. Large appliances include electric range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Small appliances include a Keurig, 12-cup coffee-maker, 4-slice toaster, blender, waffle-maker, 2 rice cookers (large and small), crockpot, and small mixer. The glass-topped round table can accommodate 6 people, and the armed-chairs with castors are most comfortable.

LIVING ROOM: All new furniture moved into our living room in the spring of 2021. Two soft, comfy, reclining chairs and the matching sofa make it easy to relax and enjoy the flat screen TV. You’ll find a good supply of books to read when you are so inclined.

MASTER BEDROOM: The comfortable, queen-sized bed is flanked by bed stands and lamps on either side. A large dresser with mirror, an extra-bedding trunk, and a table complete the furniture here. The master bath features a large, step-in tile shower.

GUEST BEDROOM: The twin beds have a good-sized table between with a lamp on top. A 4-drawer dresser with mirror is next to the corner chair. This large closet houses the beach chairs, boogie boards, and other beach supplies/equipment. Beach towels are provided in the hall linen-closet. You’ll find several family games above the linen closet.
King-sized bedding is available in the linen closet should you want to turn the twin beds into a king.

MAIN BATH: This bath features an enclosed tub/shower. Extra bath towels are available in the hall linen closet.

Maui Parkshore condos are in a great location with easy walking access to multiple Kihei beaches and the boat launch area that many tour groups go out of. Kihei itself was a great place to be based with all other areas of the island feasible for day trips. The condo complex's pool, grills and shuffleboard were all nice amenities that were well-maintained. Condo unit is an older unit and could use some updates, but it was clean and solidly equipped for cooking and beach activities with chairs, umbrella, towels and boogie boards all available for guests. Worked well as a home base for an active family of four.

We really enjoyed staying right across from the beach. It was so convenient to be able to take a dip in the ocean and then walk back to the condo. It could be a little warm without air conditioning, but the large screen door on the lanai allowed the breezes to cool things down some. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect Spot

Condo is spacious and clean. The atmosphere is pleasant and laid back. Directly across the beach with lifegaurd and the shore is plentiful. Location of condo allows for quick access to all the activities and land adventures.

Friends Trip!

Roger responded promptly when we reached out to him and the on site property manager, Lisa, was great! She is very responsive and does enforce all the rules listed for the property. The location was great for walking (even with quite a lot of beach gear) to both Kam 2 and Kam 3 beaches. The property was clean and was just like the pictures and we would stay here again!

Well equipped condo with amazing view!

Great spacious condo with amazing view. All equipment you might think of is included, great kitchen, even though we were not cooking much as it is in walking distance to few restaurants and shops. All we needed and more for our Hawaiian stay. Communication with Roger was great and there is very nice property manager always to help. We would give more stars if we could.

Excellent location of beach and view of ocean

The condo was very well equipped. There was a broken coffee maker but was replaced the next day. The beach was across the road which I love being across from beach 2 &3. Wonderful condo in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location is perfect with sunset views out of the lanai and pretty good location to reach all of the island for further exploration. The condo is well equipped with everything you need for cooking and laundry as well as beach supplies, which we greatly appreciated as we did not need to bring or rent a boogie board (we brought our own snorkeling equipment). The condo only has fans, no AC, so be aware of that if you go during the hot months, it becomes really warm during the nights despite fans. The pool of the apartment complex is wonderful and was a nice temperature to cool off a bit without freezing (we went in July). The pool was never too crowded and we met some nice other condo owners that were very friendly. The only issue we had is cockroaches in the kitchen and we needed to spray ourselves against them since the pest control treatment in the apartment is done on a schedule only. We were told that this is not untypical for Maui though that did not help us much.

Great location, comfortable place, but lots of roaches

The unit itself is great - great location, comfy beds, comfy seating, all the kitchen supplies you need. However, the unit is infested with small roaches. I mostly noticed the roaches in the kitchen and both bathrooms, although there were one or two in the bedrooms and living room. The kitchen is covered in roaches at night with several dozens of them scattered all about. We had to put all of our food, including bags of chips and other shelf stable items, in the fridge to prevent roaches from crawling all over them. We cleaned up after ourselves, washed all the dishes, took out the trash every evening, but the roaches were still present. I contacted the property owner about the roaches twice - once on the phone and once via the app. He apologized and said he has the unit sprayed for pests every few months. He said he would contact the property manager to see if they would come out again but I never heard back. So, we ended up just having to deal with the roaches for the week we were here. My kids were pretty grossed out by it. It definitely put a bit of a damper on our trip. Luckily, the roaches mostly come out at night. I've stayed at many different condos in Maui and have never had an experience like this one. If you're grossed out by bugs, you might wanna try a different place. To end on a positive note, the place is so convenient to shopping, beaches, and restaurants. The beds and seating were very comfy. The property is also nice.

Nice size condo - great location

Great location to a wide variety of beaches within walking distance and short driving distance. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Condo was a bit warm in the evenings even with fans that were provided, but does cool off by early morning hours. Condo owner and local building manager were both easy to deal with.

Just about perfect

This was the perfect location to stay in Maui. The condo had everything you could possibly need for vacation in Hawaii. The only downfall is we had a problem with bugs... LOTS of bugs. Only in the kitchen luckily. We told Roger about it and he got an exterminator to come and spray for them so hopefully that will fix the bug problem. Other than that this place has a BEAUTIFUL ocean/sunset view. The beach is right across the street. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great place next to beaches

Very nice apartement close to many beaches and activities. However, the amount of rules that need to be followed reduces the pleasure to stay there. An employee came 3 times to tell us that we broke a rule, like where to hang our towels and that we should not dive in the pool. More a family friendly place.

Maui Parkshore Condo

Lovely place to stay for your Maui holiday. Large lanai to enjoy the view. If your set on air conditioning this might not be the place for you. We adjusted quite quickly as there is a nice cross breeze, large lanai sliding doors and many fans. Very few people use the pool as the beach is so close. The grounds are well kept and a hose for washing off sand is available for use before you go back up to your condo. Very handy. It might be nice to not have to wash the towels before you have to checkout. Make sure you wash the beach towels the night before. There wasn’t enough laundry detergent for me to wash all the towels (left a note to let housekeeping know). Overall we couldn’t be happier with our stay and would definitely stay there again😊

Great Overall Value!

Overall this is a great condo for the price! PROS: Excellent location in South Kihei! This suite has a great view of the ocean and the full size balcony can't be beat. Spacious and generous layout and lots of light makes you feel royal. Communal barbeques and a pool make it extra nice. The owners provided helpful things for vacationers, like lots of towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, etc. Communication was great with the owners to remedy any issues that came up. CONS: No air conditioning, but lots of ceiling and floor fans to compensate. The resident manager hired by the condo board is quite aggressive and rude, and is constantly nagging guests to obey all the condo and pool rules. He's easy to avoid, so don't let him ruin your aloha spirit!
