Situated in the heart of Kihei, this family-owned and operated vacation rental sits at the northern end of picturesque Halama Street. The property is tucked away from the large resorts and crowded tourist areas, offering guests a peaceful retreat while still being centrally located. Nearby, you'll find convenient access to banks, the post office, stores, medical clinics, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and more.

Unit Description:
This oceanfront accommodation offers one bedroom and one bathroom. The space includes a full kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room with a sofa sleeper pullout for additional sleeping arrangements. Situated on the upper floor, this unit offers a private entrance, and all the conveniences of home, including a modern kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and more—ideal for preparing tasty meals. Sip coffee or tea on your ocean-facing balcony and enjoy stunning views from the living room and kitchen. Although you don't have to leave the unit to enjoy the sunset, you'll find yourself spending a lot of time at the beach as the ocean is literally right outside the back yard. We were first time VRBO customers. We looked at many properties before we chose this one. We were on our 25th Anniversary and the spot was perfect. It was centrally located for events and to travel around Maui from Kihei. I do suggest having a car, but I didn't see a better location on Maui that I would stay. It is located on a quiet street about a mile from downtown Kihei stores and restaurants. Downtown Kihei main street is very busy during the day. We used both the kitchen and laundry. Plus we used the beach towels, chairs and beach daily. The beach is quiet and perfect for romantic walks with the perfect sunsets. It has a great view of Haleakala in the front but the sunrise takes time, hidden behind the mountain. I would recommend this location for a quiet romantic vacation spot. The Host Michael was nice and helped with any requests we had.The balcony was the best part for morning coffee and watching the sunsets.

Incredible Stay on Maui

We absolutely loved our stay here. Mike was the best host and made sure we had everything we needed! He had great local recommendations and truly went above and beyond to make our stay in Maui memorable. The apartment was very clean and had the most incredible view! The AC in both the living area and close to the bed worked wonderfully.Our favorite part was the secluded beach directly out front of the property. Though it wasn’t a private beach, it very much felt that way, as we had it mostly to ourselves! We were not ready to leave and hope to return soon! Mahalo, Mike, for an incredible experience.

Almost perfect

Location is 2nd to none. Right in front of beach and quiet neighbors. Beach is very calm and you get to see sea turtle and even whale passing by if you are lucky.Now, as a landlord myself, I would definitely upgrade furniture and fix the area where termite was affected.Nit the turn off of the property but would be good to have are; spoons, shampoo, and other condiments (salt/pepper/cooking oil/etc.). I know Michael would have given condiments if asked but we already bought them before I got to talk to him. We arrived late and didn't want to bother at late hours.This brings next topic. He is mich better with call then text. If you need his attention right away, call instead text.Michael, I also suggest you to make a pdf file for all your trip suggestions and email to future renters instead of sending same text messages to renters.He is very helpful and wants you to enjoy your stay. Just needs some updates and better methods.

The greatest view in Hawai'i

This is an truly spectacular location. Book this place if only for the incredible view you get and the nightly magical sunsets you get to experience. It is also very well located, within walking distance of the Kihei center. The apartment itself is very comfortable and clean. Will stay here again next time we are in town.

Unexpected great place

Michael was awesome. The location was perfect. I will stay there again when on Maui. You can't go wrong with this property. With immediate beach access in the heart of town you feel far away from the grind. Best sunsets in town!

Wonderful cottage

This spot is great! Short walk on grass to the beach. Tons of turtles in the water. Mike is wonderful to chat with and has a ton of suggestions. Good for couples to while families. Definitely coming back!

Quiet and beautiful

The unit is at the dead end of a quiet residential street, right on the ocean. Although everything you need is nearby, the unit feels secluded from the busyness of the area. Plenty of space in the 1 bedroom unit with a full kitchen and living area. The deep yard leads to the beach, which you pretty much have to yourself. It was a very tranquil setting, which we hope to someday come back to. Thank you Michael for everything!

Quick Sightseeing Around Maui

Apartment had so many perks: excellent location right off the beach, super clean, great air conditioning, quiet, lots of equipment available for beach activities, and a top tier host. Mike greeted us when we arrived and was excited to hear about or interests. We were only staying 4 days and it was our first time in Maui. Mike gave so many great recommendations for day-trip activities such as hikes, sightseeing, and restaurants. He also alerted us to characteristics of the beach nearby, such as being sure to watch for turtles and whales. We had a wonderful time thanks to Mike covering everything we needed.

Can’t wait to go back!

We had an absolutely lovely stay, and Mike went above and beyond to give us great recommendations and make us feel welcome. We mostly used it as a home base for adventuring (very convenient!), but kind of wish we would have taken more advantage of the beautiful property - can’t beat the outdoor area going right out to the beach. Recommend, and hope to return.

Loved this place!

Everything was great here! The biggest draw was being right on the beach in Kihei so we could walk on the beach and swim right there. We had everything we needed for our week stay. Mike went above and beyond to recommend restaurants and a gym. Would definitely return!

This place was perfect for us. Michael the owner was great he was super friendly and welcoming. We felt like it was a home away from home. Awesome accomodations and Stupendous Beach Sunsets!

We would highly recommend you stay here. There are five apartments so they can accommodate 2 - 16 people. You will love it. The beach is right outside the back door and there is so much to see in the area.
